hey ask smth, moving off v slowly from low rev, does ur bike vibrate in the sense jerking like e engine wnat to die? coz it kinda affects my handling preference.... it will swing left rite left right a little....

however, at normal riding its okay, just those "engine want to die moments", which is at low rev.... does anyone haf this problem?

Life is not the amount of breath u take, but the moments that take ur breath away.

It is not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.

clutch plate worn perhaps?

as for me i've never experienced that on my wave before.

Maybe u can try adjusting the idling higher and see if it works for your bike.

onetwentyfive: thanks for info, but cofnirm not clutch plate problem... coz my problem is the handling and not accelerating problems.. i just dont like hard acceleration on a wave... suppose to relac.

musha, actually what i can do usually is throttle harder... but i'm just a little worried if steering cone needs replacement or smth...

i'm not too sure if wave's handling is like tat or smth is wrong thats y... but yar.. its a good point n suggestion, i thik it might work

anyawy if crusing, let go handle bar, does e bars haf any vibrations(say 1-2mm vibrations)? or totally smooth?

Steering cone doesn't cause the engine wants to stall feeling leh...

On the Wave while cruising sure got vibration one lah... 1-2mm, i think it's very good liao. Vibration is more pronounced as speed progresses. :cheeky:

nono.... as in if steering cone spoil... will move left right rite..?

thing is, if engine feel like stalling, the vibration sure increase rite? u noe the jerky feeling????

hence damaged steering cone + increased of vibrations due to engine jerky.. = nasty handling for that 1sec....

anyway its only at slow speed.. and i guess i'll increase my idling and see how things goes. no time to touch my bike nowadays...

Ar.... i see. During straight line hard braking got knocking noise from the cone area, not? Sounds like "kok kok kok kok" till you completely stop. :p

i'd have to agree with MUSHA on increasing your idling. as for your steering cone, as long as you turn your handles and it doesnt feel too rough or too loose its fine.

Replaced my steering cone awhile back and thats what my mech told me. :)

Cone too rough yes but after changing is it will be super smooth and "loose" feeling? :cheeky:

haha it'll just be very smooth. if its loose then the mech never tighten the cone jia lat!

yes thats endurance pipe. very cheap JB can get. used it for awhile years back. but the pipe isnt really that good. causes alot more vibration and eats petrol like hell. gives you slightly more sprint power but is catastrophic when you're at top end.

But it was jolly good fun!

now u mention!! i remember my s4 had this kok kok kok sound!! then my sterering cone gone accoridng to mech.... hmmm.. which means i guess my wave is okay...

1-20-5: hahaha, acutally i think lar, the aftermarket exhaust not much difference in f/c, maybe abit only..... the drastic difference is actually the user feel more happy with the sound so pump the throttle like mad.... hahaha!!! i totally understand how u feel!!
