Selling my month used under utilised Red colour Pop Domino(best quality in the market I was told) Racing Footrest with passenger footrest and rear brake steel cable line instead of the usual unorthodox method of welding your stock shaft to it, going for $120 as a set paid more than 200 because of the additional steel cable. Hi, I am using 125s now but my rear brake (stock ) isn't working well, don't really feel the force when you step the brake. Is it normal due to it's not disk brake or any advice on it ?.

Problem 2 : When my bike hit about 100 it will vibrate is it time for overhual or is use coverset loose ?

Hello guys, new wave rider here. Many questions to ask all you shifus(masters)..

 

Took a break from riding due to broken collarbone from accident..

 

Now, i just purchased a 05 wave 125r. seems to be in pretty good condition..

 

Now have some questions to ask, please advice me if possible:

1) now that i purchased it, i intend to do a full service, wash carbs, brakeline check, tyre pressure etc.. anything i should especially look out for? and any motor shop someone can recommend me?

 

2) the rear givi box (37-39L), when bike starts theres some tak tak tak vibration sound, any fixes for that? or is it a norm?

 

3) Where will you recommend if i intend to get a kappa mezzo center box, and price

 

4) Last and most important question, can anyone tell me where i can do some sort of fuel tank extension into the U-Box? and cost?

It depends, its drum brakes after all but still good to seek 2nd opinion from someone who is physically there to test ride to verify.

Check the screws etc but wave usually hang around that top speed. You probably got an old wave after all right in a need to overhaul soon?

2) tighten the screws and nuts, ride with empty box and see any more sound. to troubleshoot, while bike is not moving, shake the box and hear.

4) fuel tank maybe malaysia cheaper. Last heard its few hundred sgd(300+?) so might be half price there.

hi guys, quick question. Does wave R have backlight in the stock speedometer? and does the blueish bars above the speed indicator light up as some sort of rpm meter?

IMHO nope for the bars, yes it does have backlight so you can see at night
