10yrs bro, For sure. i agree. The wave is a workhorse and a bulletproof engine. There will always be 2B riders looking for a 2nd hand bike to start out with instead of paying the full price of a new wave.

Just remove head cover show in the pic. Rear brake light might need adjustment, is at the rear of right engine, is a turning knob to adjust the brake to the light, pic missing so can't upload. If feel troublesome, Front light bulb, Singapore $5, Malaysia RM3.

press front brake, rear brake light not lighted up---> depress rear brake will it light up? if do--> there a by-metalic switch at the front brake level which might be spolit go buy from lab. less than $15. easy to change.

 

the high beam bulb muz have blown, is it ez for me to replace myself? --> quite easy but u had to find all the head cowling screw & remove them then u can remove to accress the headlight bulb.

i blew the drain plug thread when i was changing my engine oil, i overtighten it. any idea if any shop that could do rethreading? or is it possible to rethread? thanks!!

u can safe $$ by use the white tape that it use for piping connection to try whether it can be tighten. coil around 5~7 rounds around the drain nut tread then try tighten back.

If still cannot u can try any bike shop around $40~$60(inculding of engine oil & new drain nut). i too have this issue but can use white tape but after couple of engine oil change, recently too big have to go shop to re-treading. Size might be bigger since it is rethread. This is a common issue for wave as the shop mechnic told me.

Malaysia will be cheaper unless u know your route.
