I just change to Hel Brake Hose.

Before change: Almost empty brake fluid, must squeeze till brake lever almost touch bar-end.

After change: Squeeze half-way = max(anymore and i scared front lock) but feel like my stock hose when new.

Some more that guy is much bigger size than I do. If he is same weight as me, he would have "fly'" away.

Must give a friendly wave to the cute girl ma... :cheeky:

[quote=;5868662]musha: where u got ur steel brake hose from?

No brand. Given by my mech when i bought the bike. Can use, can already. Front brake very "bite" compared to rubber hose.

B4 can squeeze until almost touch bar-end also means ur front brake pads are almost gone. o_O

Hi Motor Driver,

I am new to this forum.

Could advice me a good motor shop near Jurong West? I just bougth a second hand wave 125s year 2002.

Problem to fix: -

1) Sprocket is too small (no power at 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear)

2) when change to 3rd gear and immediately accelerate, the motor not moving. Must wait awhile than accelerate.

Thanks.

But the mech who change SB's brake hose should have warn him if the pads are worn. By the time, screeching sound is heard will be too late liao... then become change pads and disc at the same time. :cheeky:

Welcome, Patrick! Welcome to the rock solid engined Wave by Honda!

Sounds like u got the same problem as me... a slipping clutch cover/housing.

Personally, I prefer smaller sprockets as it saves fuel in long distance travel. :thumb:

somtime they just dont care.... u never ask them to check they wont check... besides.. all this we should do like monthly.......

and yes.... too late liao if screenching sound... precisely thats why it is the HARD way.... hahaha! but no worries.. our brake disc is cheap.

Luckily me, my mech is very concern about such safety items like brake pads, discs, tyres, sprockets n chain.

If taken care of, the disc literally lasts forever. :thumb:

Hi all,

Wave 125X user here.. can anyone tell me the function of the 'brake stopper arm' ah? the bolt+cotter pin attaching it to the bike got lost, luckily the mech pointed it out to me.

thanks.
