Knucklehead mine still not expire, i try applying as a trainee process tech with my electrical ntc2 n opsoc but till now they still have not call me.... Any company still hiring for trainee process tech in jurong island??? Need some advice...

@jahanam_racing85 - maybe you should try looking out fr the papers more often? never saw trainee process technician bfo actually ... usually i see trainee technician in the electrical line ... well, be patient bro ... i used to apply for EM back in june 2009 but only got their reply 4 months later. bleah ~

Sorry to dig out an old thread....one more soon to be Operations Tech on board...currently got an offer from Chevron Oronite but I just have an interview with Exxonmobil, anyone knows how long EM will get back after the interview?

 

The branding of EM seems better and better salary but I heard the work culture is quite bad inside...anyone from EM care to share? Thanks!

@karmatrix ; got extreme sides of stories. i have friends who hates the culture there, but i also have friends who says the environment is good. so depends on your luck. anyway chevron or EM or whatever, it's the experience and attitude that is important. no point you go to good companies, have a shytload of effed up attitude with people around you, and expect your work to be easy. people teach you, you listen n u do. duno ask qns. dont anyhow do things like its your fathers company. furthermore you may never know if you put other's life at risk.

Hi bros & sis, wonder is it very difficult or not even possible for someone with IT background to get into oil&gas sector as a process/operation tech?
