so u dun have to go around looking for hotels in case theyre fully booked

Btw Federal hotel is good but u can get better rate at that area

very easy

after the sungai besi toll

u just go all the way straight

then u will see air base on yr left

cont go forward tull u see the sign Jln Bukit Bintang

then just follow the sign and then u will turn left and see Planet hollywood etc

AH Jap... there's a annual ride called "Rock to Rock" happening this weekend... Hard Rock to Hard Rock... mostly Harleys but some other bike groups join as well... u can look out for them.... HRC KL is next to Concorde hotel... there are quite a few other hotels around there.

ride safe bro... Shiny Side up & Rubber side down & burning....

Absolutely nothing but plenty of photo opportunities. No accomodation.

 

4. Anything else to note for a trip there?

 

- Go light. Bring water and food.

- Most suited for dirt-bike. Big Traillies and enduros will make it but at slower pace.

- preferably go during dry season

- Carry GPS

- No phone coverage

- Distance of trail (one way) is almost 48km.

- Driving lamps are essential when riding at night.

avoid going in by woodlands. go in by second link, hit the NSW up north. first petrol stop at pagoh R&R, then continue up north. take the ayer keroh exit into malacca. go for a massage at any hotel's health spa, go for chicken rice balls, stop over for leisure shopping at makhota parade, then head home.

Melaka is a gd choice, not too far and not too near, abt 286km away from Second Link.

 

a brand new shopping mall to shop for but price wise is almost same as sg.. also quite alot of Temples around Junker Street

Nothing to worry about the petrol station.

 

You're on an S4.

 

First stop would be prolly 160km-180km after GP R&R. Second one almost there.

 

Definitely lesser than 200km apart if you're up on 2nd Link NSH.

 

It is easy if you can remember where to go.

 

Sometimes its pure commonsense...

 

E.g, you know you passed by Ayer Keroh before you entered Bandar Melaka, so when you wanna leave Melaka, you would go back where you were before.

 

The roadsigns are pretty okay as well.
