anyways, latest is that KTM not so goot for LKS liao; cos:

- outside sitting area has been demarcated solely for parking liao

- so all customers must Lim Ko-Pee inside the building, which by some comments, is damn hot n stuffy....

 

so we skipping KTM liao...

 

next weekend we may think of gg to that new durian cafe at still road

(but somewhere in this forum, got ONE bad review)

Anyone else in this thread interested to join in on an easy ride to Melaka this Saturday, the 16th of August.

 

The plan is, meet at 9am at GP Esso and then we ride.

 

Head to Melaka, have lunch, then sip some coffee. Cruise around for abit and then head back to Sg. We should be back home before sundown...

 

 

Ah Fai? Living Zodiac? Kenglya? Mr. Big? Paolo?

Had replace MT-01 tires with Bridgestone BT-020s for almost a week, feel much better at cornering now :) :)

In the past was used to up-shift gear when the technometer hits around 2,400rpm @ normal riding street, currently try to up-shift until around 2,900rpm, may be because of re-visit of various MT site & the replacement of new tires that gives me a boost... totally a new riding experience~ and I like it~ :thumb:

 

The only concern may be the fuel consumption thought :)

Hey SubaruSTi, You really have about 2 options only (unless you go custom). There's either GPRs or Akras. I personally like the Akras better because of the sound and the fact that you can get aftermarket heat shields for your exhausts.

 

I got lucky. MTS sold me the bike with customised Supertrapps on it. Beats both Akras and GPRs hands down.:faint:

 

Wanna meet up for some kopi later tonite? I'll be cathing up with quite a few Ducatis, at least 1 B-King and a Sumati (Suzuki/Yamaha/Ducati). They're quite fun and theres normally lotsa talk followed by a ride to somewhere in Sg.

 

If you're up for it, we're meeting at Jalan Sultan (M. A. Deen Biasa) at 8:30pm. Gimme a message on 81898732 if you're coming ya!

 

It'll be good to meet another MT rider!:thumb:

Agree with Bro Justin Rozario, 2 thumbs up for his customised Supertrapps, great deep sound & looks great in the origin exhaust cover :thumb: :thumb:

 

Mine is GPR exhaust~ sound ok-ok but doesn't suit too well for the origin exhaust cover :)

 

Akra is cool, yet may be a bit expensive to own one, getting it from dealer may cost you more than 3K, a killer in my opinion. Nevertheless, as per recommended by the Bro LivingZodiac, getting Akra direct from UK will be cheaper, about GBP 638 + another GBP100 for the shipment. (Can't imagine the UK's MT owners are getting akra for free~ hmmm... :( )

saw 1 MT-01 parked at parkway last wed. with gpr exhausts. cool & solid ride.

Hmmm... Yea actually find that it's quite a solid looking ride. Wonder how it sounds like with e gpr exhuasts. i'm using gpr myself too. haha! =D

IMO feels like drum beating + bassy sound + bit loud :p
