How to read tyre marking ?

eg 120/60 - 13 , I only know 13 is refering to inch ,what about 120/60 ?

i think 120 is the fatness width of the tire and the 60 is the ???? hehehe dont know osos

Its on the wall of your tyres.

 

Example: 2607 = 26 weeks of 2007

great info.. life span of tyre is 5 years, anyone can confirm?

60 is the aspect ratio.

 

so 120/60 means 60% of 120.

 

and tyres from manufacture to storage max is 5 years. so if the tyre is unused, 5 years is the max you can keep it.

 

for tyres that are on bikes and regularly used. shouldn't go past 2 years.
