Besides wrapping... there's something called. idionising (dunno spell correct anot).

 

What fat di said was like using chemicals to like put colours onto it... Which cost around $150. They would have to sent it to australia to do it... maybe around 2 weeks ? Not sure...

For micron and most aftermarket end cans,can just change the sleeves.Got many too choose from.CF,firespec,etc.Maybe when my micron stainless steel becomes too jialat,then i change to carbon fibre sleeve.

Mine now beginning to have fine scratches liao...

 

plus the rubber sealing is collecting raindrops... Quizesilver saw the dripping from my rubber sealing...

Yah,mine already got some scratches ,results from my pillion.Maybe we 1st batch can get discount for the carbon fibre sleeves?Correct or not Fat_di?

like wat tis owner did, add a xtra bracket to lower e exhuast so tt pillion will nt step on it... :sweat:

Lower the exhuast? Then the headers can fit in mah?

 

Seen the pic... is it he lower the exhuast or fitted a bracket upwards so the pillion can step on it instead of on the end can? Not sure... cannot imagine original looks when looking at the pic...

 

But still i was thinking, if he lower exhuast, the headers also must lower right?

ok.. saw the second pic... it really does seems he lowered the exhuast... hmmm... Dunno how he do it... but i'm sure out there, there's definately an extra stand for the pillion to step on...

dun be mistake guys

let me enlighten all

 

his is a ver s.

but if u notice he is using a vtec exhaust.

which the mounting point is fix.

there for in order to use the exhaust with the mounting point secure. he use the bracket to extend.

further more he is have RAISE the whole rider and pillion stand up.

 

also take note the micron backet/mounting point is adjustable therefore no point.

 

two way to go about doing a stand for your pillion

buy those extra long bolt.

where u will secure it then ur pillion for more "moving" place that is the long bolt.

 

else get ur pillion a slipper after dismount then wear back shoe.

 

actually there is another way.

if u all saw palmer

he paste a sand paper material like on the exhaust area where the pillion heel will be at.

ok proper thing should be...

yoshimura comes in the following make...

round and tri-oval.

fire spec is some burnt design etched into the end-can (for obvious reason, carbon fibre is excluded).

actually the burnt out design is to complement the "fire-spec" header. yoshi headers come in plain or "fire-spec" design. for headers, plain = machine made and "fire-spec" = hand made.

at least that's what i gather from yoshi's literature.

actually tot of tt oso....using sand paper(anti slippery matt) but wouldn't e heat of e exhuast melt e adhesive layer sticking e sand paper to e pipe..... :confused:
