Went to BikeTech21 2 days ago & checked out the pipes that they have to offer..

Owner was pretty cool & took some time to explain to be the various pipes in the market. According to him, the best in performance is Arrow but it's designed for higher cc bikes. For the CB400, the best money can buy is Micron, full system. He sort of condemned the Yoshi series. For the $1580, you can get the full system minus installation. $650 for the end-can. Money back guarantee in terms of performance & satisfaction.

What do you guys think?

Is it worth the $$?

Full system versus only the end-can - big diff in performance?

if Money back guarantee in terms of performance & satisfaction, den it's worth it.

Full system's performance will definitely be better as compared to end can only.

But be prepared for a lot of hidden costs... Installation, LTA check, carb tuning etc... gonna cost more than the $1580 you were quoted.

how much did he quote you for the mircon full system?

well, i will say that you have to further enquire what 'other cost' is there; like does it include installation? does it includes the paperwork you need to bring to vicom, etc.

personal opinion is that there are not many aftermarket full systems around... furthermore, for a smaller cc bike like S4, the power gain is not going to be significant unless to take both to a dyno test...

again, personally i like my yoshi full system cos it is really bassy and can really feel the top end gain.. :thumb:

its worth it if u really wanan feel the Umph !

personally ( no offence to anyone )

i didnt consider getting a yoshi or micron full system

but i held back the idea is because i know someday i gng to upgrade to a bigger cc bike. i feel that for a full system does increase performance for a s4 but i prefer to save the money for a bigger cc bike that increases more performance than a s4 hahahha

thats why i got a end can nia

some people buy stuff for their S4 to stave away the temptation of buying a bigger bike. that should keep one feeling happy for awhile... as it helped for me.

Not too sure. But if change full system definitely needs tuning or your setting will confirm be out.

yeah, thats applies for me too...

i bought a first hand Spec III with the intention to keep it for at least 3 yrs.

thats why i am willing to invest onto my S4... still at the end, the temptation is very very strong to upgrade... kekeke...

Yup.. The $1580 is purely the price for the system only without the papers/installation.. I thought the papers come with it? Mm... It's more than meets the eye.. The guy told me he can throw in the necessary jetset in the package & guarantees extra horsepower..

Wonder if there are any shops that carry 2nd hand ones? Mm...
