I bought my 03RR 2mths back in Oct'06... FX plate and at 11.8k excl rd tax, insurance and handling fees... Seems like the fuel injec got some prob cos top speed only reached 186,187km/h on our local expressways... Any other owners faced similiar prob?

Hey guys, I'm really interested in getting a CBR600F4i touring version after I get my Class 2 license sometime in September next year.

 

I'm currently riding a Phantom, and I'm thinking of jumping straight to the CBR instead of 'training' on a Super 4. Is that a good idea?

 

The CBR's weight shouldn't be a problem for me as the Phantom is pretty much like a concrete pillar with a 200cc engine, but what I am concerned about is the difference in torque, power and handling.

It should not be a problem if u handle the cbr600 slowly at 1st . Getting acustomed to it is quite easy .

 

But after geeting used to the power of a 600 , riding a phatom is like riding bicycle .

I personally dun feel a damper is a necessity as the Honda's handling is (for me) quite superb on the tracks... And I also have put on a tank bra as I frequently travel to Malaysia..

How much U pay for the tank bra? I was quoted $165,best price was around $150.

Really loh... Anyway bike shop has dismantled the whole bike back in Oct and found nothing out of place... I juz did a servicing on 30/12/06 and with the new Fully Syntechtic Motor Oil, oil filter, fuel injection cleaner, new battary and a waxed chain... Hopefully will do better than tat tonight ba... Going to test it later on...

 

Wat tyres do you guys have on your baby? Still using Honda-recommended BT012 or some other brands? Previous owner uses Pirellis Dragon Super Crosa... I'm replacin mine soon... Super Corsa at $450 quoted by my bike shop...
