Hi all any bro here had fired a topbox for f4i? And where can I get it done?

I used to have a F4 with topbox (E52). I still have the Givi racks if you want, but your F4i need to be the banana single seat type to fix this rack. PM me :)

Hi guys. It's hard for me to say this but I am letting my baby go. Yup! So if anyone out there would like to own a F4i '01 model, send me a whatsapp message @ eight1134six92. Switching to a class 2A instead. If you know someone who wants to trade, do let me know as well. Thanks :(

Hey guys, am planning to get myself a f4. But just wanted to ask, maintenance cheap on this machine? stuff like regular oil change n all.

Also, the seat looks bit more pillion friendly, but any prove otherwise?

Thanks for any info provided!

cheers

Hi peeps! I'm creating a new whatsapp group for Class 2 Sport's Bikers keen to travel to Malaysia for short riding sessions on regular basis. Maybe within Johor and Malacca states for now. If you are interested text me at 8133 0476. Please also post in your bikes' Facebook group and do inform your friends! Cheers!

Hi guys, planning to get my first sportsbike. Having a hard time choosing between the more affordable Oct 2008 and a Dec 2011 Cbr600 which seems better as a long term bet given the high COE. They look very similar in design and features even though they are more than 3 years apart. Any experience or advice to share?

Is f4i a easy bike to maintain and spareparts easily available? Planning to buy f4i for the feel of a class2 bike. I need some thoughts on this

the f4i was from a time when honda bikes were truly bulletproof, so assuming you can find one that was reasonably well taken care of by its various owners and un-crashed, it should easily run for several more years at least. in my time i've seen 900RR and 954RR running smoothly past their ten years, and the f4i is from that era.

but for better and for worse, it is a model that is either very near the end of its ten years, or already past it.

most maintenance parts are generic, so for general maintenance you are unlikely to find problems with parts.

its only if you are thinking of making a project bike that you may encounter problems. like, if you want model-specific aftermarket accessories like windscreen, exhaust, mud guard etc, you probably will need to invest time and effort finding them online. otherwise, you're better off finding an early model 600RR, which as an ex-owner i would highly recommend for the right price. the RR would feel more similar to current sportsbikes rather than the softer f series.

i would also recommend immediately changing the tyres, and possibly the suspension if its still running stock.

my final opinion is to compare prices of the f4i with early model RR, don't forget to include COE renewal if you think you have to, and if the difference is less than 3K, go for the RR instead. thats just me. the RR is a serious evolution over the F4i.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

As Mechwira commented, the engine is good. In terms of parts, maybe you would have to wait to get certain parts like rotors, but otherwise pretty fine, some parts are generic and compatible with Super 4. If just want to get a feel of higher cc, no harm picking up one.
