Black should be 06 liao.. FZ also got 06. Coz mine FY 9785 is Mar 05 liao.

Hi brudders,

 

wud like to find out some details regdg the R1. in particular the 05-06 models. it'd probably been asked before and answered by u guys but i cant seem to find it in the thread.wud appreciate the enlightenment!

 

1) 18litres fuel tank capacity. does this include the 3.4l reserve?

2) on an average singapore road riding, wat is the consumption rate of the R1? 05-06 in particular. or perhaps wat is the range of mileage u can get on a full tank? before n after reserve.

3) anybody updated on the latest pricing of the R106? otr price preferred.

-Yes

-full tank depend on yr riding style.. average arnd 230-250 be4 reserve. Aft reserve lights on can travel for another 50click.

3) anybody updated on the latest pricing of the R106? otr price preferred.

-Better do yr homework and check it out with diff bike shop. Coz diff bike shop quote diff price.

hey organise outing not bad not bad =P

err recently met quite alot r1 on road .. lol bedok/ tamp area

gOt quite alot liao , black , blue .. onli i silver !

 

btw regarding the Qns posted .. if im not wrong ...

1) r1 18L full tank INCLUDE 3.5L of reserve

2) for mine, cOs of short dist travelling , b4 reserve normally hit abt 210 or 220km nia ... long distant travelling may vary up to 300km or sO

3) specs wise can check up webby , all stated =D

 

lastly , looking forward tO speedpass's outing .. dO give us pm or notice k

2 ways to identify. Either checking on the no plate or clutch cover.

 

04 & 05's clutch cover has holes ard it. Whereas 06 looks like star shape.

According to Yamaha USA, there is raven/black 2005.

 

I suppose SG shld also have raven/black.

 

Check out the pics below & observe the clutch cover.

hi Guys,

 

Need some advice for getting a 01/2/3 R1. I have stopped playing with bike for nearly 2 years now. First time getting a sport bike. Appreciate someone give me some pointers on what to look out for in R1 common problem. :)
