lifes too short and can be ended any time. my wife and i changed our budget formula and increase $$ for play. in our 40s, we lost a few friends thru illness and accidents. this phase changed our thinking. its best to remove those accessories before playing in track in case of accidents. saves troubles, saves money. and the bike will be lighter and more fun. dates to be advised but it will be late Sept.

in my recent long distance ride on highway at about 110km/h in China, the road is not very flat, alot of uneven. with the steering damper set to almost the max, i could ride with one hand. without it, i would need two hands. on normal riding to the town, i do not think the damper is useful. i have not tried yet, but i am planning to bring the bike to pasir gudang for a few hard laps in late Sep during weekdays. I am sure the steering damper will prove itself. Anyone care to join for a casual spin? i know two other Fazers might come.

i was one of the member too. i saw nap^tune rode over humps, potholes and muddy terrain. she is very impressive. a very good rider. and then on the SQ plane back, we met another stewardess who owns a 1098 Ducati too. What a rare coincidence.... two out of three lady ducati owners on board. this ride was really a blast. wish i could do it again. this time, i must bring my loved one along.

Hi guys, i have just completed the China ride from Beijing to Shanghai. The Fazer really perform well in slow traffic, weaving traffic and it rode over 2kms of roads filled with potholes without a hiccup. I am now selling away the touring stuff. Top Saddlery Seat, Top Saddlery Tank Bra and Bailey Tall Shield. All in excellent condition. First $750 takes all. Please help me spread the word around. Its now time to convert the bike into a street fighter ... yoo hooo. Thank you very much.

Hi, i have exactly the same problem. I changed to a higher handlebar (rental), insert it with soft damping liquid gel and added heavier bar ends. Its alot better on my wrists now. I am now in China riding with Team 27. Will be back end this month and most likely sell this handlebar. If you are keen, drop me a PM. Thanks, --------------------------

seng kwang good but not cheap. you are better off scouting those industrial estates and ask them to weld. they usually charge kopi money.

i have pumped black soft gel into my handlebar, the vibrations is greatly reduced. Any soft get will do, just let it flow into the handlbar and once it comes out of the hole (for locating the swtiches), thats good enough. If you want to try, i have a spare Fazer 6 bar already filled with it. You are welcome to pick it up from me and try.

Your best bet is to ask Bikelab. Joshua suggests i do that to my FZ6 because its the same engine as R6. The bill will come to $800+. I do not think i am going that direction.
