Hi all X8, one quick question. When i try to start my bike yesterday, totally no power / blackout. ie. even the light blinking red color in the centre is gone and of course i cant even open my backseat too. Strange enough after a while (5 - 10 mins) it came back alive. Any idea what is this symptoms signify? Hope they is nothing major wrong Initially i tot my bike battery flat (i just changed it Anyway, this morning i try to start the bike and it went smoothly the whole of today as well, hence i will throw this to all X8ers, anyone here faced similar black out situation before? Do i need to send for check out? Just change my engine oil last week and no major issue so far.

Hi hi, Congratz and good choice for the color of champagne gold. Reason for being good choice is bcoz nowdays it always rain and expect more to come towards YE. To be honest i hardly wash my bike since the dirt doesnt seems to be tat obvious with this color or i might be selective looking snydrome too (even its dirty but i pretend i didnt notice it ) Same goes with selective listening snydrome as well. Keke! Anyway, i love this bike and its really comfortable riding it! My petrol is Capital V Power = 1st i choose this is bcoz its on the way back to my home after work - convenience counts 1st and secondly i always support this brand to the extent that its just so natural that i pump this! May be bcoz i was brought up from a place that there is no other petrol station except this brand! (believe it or not!) Castrol engine oil - FTW.

Hi anyone working at town area - specifically at Ocean Tower? I saw the list above - Clifford Centre is charging $1.50 via cashcard (which is the place i park for now). Another nearest parking is Golden mile for a $1. Any other recommendation for free or cheaper parking. (legal perspective) Someone before this thread (few page earlier) saying Battery Road Std Chard 3rd flr can park? How about near the china square DBS there can park there for free too? Some help for a new rider here. Will greatly appreciated. Thks.

Hey mark and disar thks for the info. I bought 2nd hand from a very nice gentleman and currently i havnt got time to go and fix the bike for some routine checkout. Hmm i think my setting prob too low tats why starting is a bit harder. Yet its not a major issue at all. Guess i better change the brake pad most likely its wear and tear la! Cya!

Hey guys i m a new x8 driver, i have to say x8 is one of the easiet riding expierience that i have). So far v satisfied witht the performance and as well as the spacious boot. Its really convenient and fantastic experience. Now the only thing is to practise more to get myself familiar witht he route to work and back. Okie i got few questions and hope u guys can help me out. Thks. 1st - In the morning / after some cooling over a period of time - when u ignite your engine by pressing the start button, does any of you throttle slightly so that it can raft up easily or do u guys let it start up itself by pressing the start button? 2nd question is the day before yday when i stop at a traffic light junction when i try to throthle to move / go forward, then the engine just died off itself. Anyone experience that? Only experience once so far. Is there anyway to check whether its due to the spark plug or anything like that? 3rd - do any of u guys check the battery pack, engine oil and wat pressure to put in the front and rear tyre? 4th - i can hear a high pitch squeeking sounds coming fr out of my rear brake. Any idea wat should i do with it? Is it time to change my brake pad or its some other things spoil? Thks o!

Still in the midst of consideration part but i got some questions to ask about the pulsar and hope u guys can give me some pointer, thks. Anyone here know of any good deal for a brand new pulsar (last mth i asked Albert motor was 5.3k OTR with box and IU). Think this mth increase slightly due to COE rite? Btw, wat color does it have? How soon can i get it if i place my order on Sat. As for Myself i m a new rider. Paying cash in full and insurance wise (prob NTUC or Mitsui) anyone got any recommendation for the insurance? normally u go for comprehensive or TP with thief and fire for new bike? Thks.

So the price of 6.8k for machine is markter price la! Ok thks. How about any place to get 0% interest on instalment for 2yrs? Anyone got any input on this? As for IS i think he said is ard 180 each and rear box plus installation is 210....ard there la...any input on that, thks.

Hey guys where do you buy your VXR 200 and can tell me how much you guys bought it? Prefrably as detail information as possible So far i check with only 1 shop and he quoted me machine price of VXR200 S$6800 for purchase price + coe. No IU and Rear Box. Insurance on my own. I dunno if there is other hidden cost as i just asked over the phone. Any shop having any credit card payment with 0% interest? Thks a lot. Still thinking to of either getting a Phantom TA200 or VXR200
