hi fi_east, is the knocking sound the same no matter what speed you riding or does the knocking become faster as you ride faster? my ver S had a knocking sound also, when i brought to mech i was told that it was my timing chain or i need to do valve clearance but i went to another mech who said it was not my timing chain but my front sprocket, i asked him how to tell the difference he told me if timing chain the knocking or ticking sound will be constant even if the bike is idle and the sound will be constant no matter your speed. and valve clearance has nothing to do with the knocking sound basically if your bike has problems starting, no power, and idle sounds like the bum boat going to ubin then you need to do your valve clearance but if the sound changes faster when you ride faster then could be one of the following, sprocket (front or rear) chain loose, Rim bearing worn, since you just changed your bearing i will guess its you sprocket and chain.

today i went down to as phoon to check whats wrong with my handlebar as the steering is funny the mac told me that my bearing spoilt and have to cheange he quote me $130 to change anyone know where to get this done cheaper?

Hey Bro i just bought My X8 today!! the market from what i have observed is about 5.5k 2005 fz plate but there are some that are cheaper but thats the market price direct from owner if from bike shop they are asking about 5.5 - 6k but you have to look out and view a few as for me i was lucky the first bike i viewed was the best one low milage and perfect condition the others all had minor to major problems and where asking about the same price as the first one i saw 5.5k i managed to neg down to 5.2k for my X8 very nice owner and we closed the deal in 2 days good luck on your search

a shout out to all mito owners.. does anyone know the specifications of the neqw 2006 mito 125? i have seen a few websits but funny enough all of them say different things one site says 34bhp another one says 50hp (ha ha cant be true) another says still 15hp another says 24bhp????? on the offical mito website nothing is mentiond about the horse power lah??? :help:

ya i agree i'm vewing two mito's one fm plate 7 speed blue with red bull stiker the other 2006 mito 6 speede of cos the 2006 expensive but the fm plate olso asking for a bit 3.3 k claims that had overhauld the entire bike from high speed bareings to rebuild of fork to new tyres this is going to be my first bike that i'm buying but not the first bike that i have ride used to ride no licences for a year suzuki rgv my friends bike let me ride when i was in NS so used to ride to camp and back home on weekends every week good bike solid pick up just could not reach more then 140km but good enough

the rule to change the age limit from 18 to 21 was 1 or 2 years back but it was meant for car but everyone started spreding the rumor that it was for bikes too and as for 2c same thing rumor started with cars again now got auto and manual licence for car ....

the older mito that i have found so far is the 7 speed asking price 3300 fm plate very old might need alot of work

Hello Bikers i'm looking to get my first bike and really want to get a mito 6 speed 2006 model does any one know anyone that is selling their's and does anyone have a comment about why i should not or should get this bike i have read the past post and wow!! some of you guys really know what your talking about when it comes to 200cc below sports bikes. besides the fact that for a 125cc bike the mito is the most beautifull thing i have seen on two wheels secondly i need a bike that looks big for a 125 as i'm not what you may call a slim figured guy got some spare tires but cant use it for the mito maybe honda cup any hows looking forward to your guys and girls reply on your take on the bike you think i should get
