  1. Hi. do you do servicing for Mojito 125 (Aprilia)? Thanks
  2. Actually even Geylang Market is bike friendly. The stalls are so many so plenty of choice. Too bad it's only till lunch. By three pm is, well, lim chu kang (dead empty)
  3. So it will be makan for next of kin. LoL
  4. Hi potato (must love fries) I think that's a joke. the first one stand for grave yard, the rest I am not sure as not from singapore but do look like the same kind of joke. Cheers!
  5. Ah yes, goes without saying. Tulang masak merah is another...... (Drooling oredi)
  6. Just before Joo Chiat Rd is also Har Yassin, Nice prata and other indian dishes. Can park near the bus stop. It's a small space between the shops and bus stop. A bit further up between Joo Chiat and Onan is Teh Tarik House can park on the pavement next to your table;)
  7. Well just to spoil it Really nice. Hope it makes it here!
  8. Steel toes are rather bulky and make it difficult for gear changing. Normal boots should be fine. If going out of Sg try getting earplugs (20 decibels at farmacies). It blocks the trafic and engine noise yet you can clearly hear the horns. It made my trip to Kota Ting really enjoyable.
  9. Actually there are Benelli Adiva sold at MAH Moto, and BMW. Benelli comes in 125 and 250 if not mistaken. It does help from rain but seems that arms do get wet. Hope this help comrade Lenin!
  10. Morning rush makes people very inconsiderate. Got pushed from a black nissan driver this morning at Paya Lebar Rd, honked hard and pointed at him. Raised the hand to mean "sorry" but still it gave a heart beat over the top. It still comes down to us watching out for ourself coz drivers either can't bother or too stressed to see around. It boils down to consider every road user like possible hazard even though they might not mean it. Ride safe and enjoy!
  11. True, phantom is not chopper, just a beginners' cruiser. I really did enjoy ridding one for more than a year, but the torque leaves you wanting for more once you outgrow the bike. Steed is a nice choice, but a bit too old and no more producing. Personally I find Shadow rather bulky for me. On a higher licence Triumph T100 is reaaaally way nice and maybe guzzi california. Financially wise the jump from 200cc to 400cc is not that much, but the difference in power is noticeable.
  12. If urgent I will still ride with rain gear, slower than normal, no overtaking and avoid oil patches like plague. Just that I wish my hemet had wippers LOL. My problem in the rain are the shoes, coz once wet, they stay wet all day- a big bonus for smelly-feet syndrome. I did use shoe covers but they were so plastick-y didn't feel safe to ride while changing gears. On a scooter they should be ok. Ride safely!
  13. Hi All. Is there any gathering of Mojito owner/ ridders in Sg? Just got mine two weeks ago and really enjoying the ride. Haven't seen many on the road ( just 3 to be precise) so was wondering if there are enough to justify a gathering:cool:. So far the experience has been smooth and nice, with a decent pick-up as well as comfort ride. Hope to get in touch with more mojito ridders. Cheers.
  14. Usually those ridding scooters will not done full gear as it is too sporty for a classic motor like say vespa. I am ridding a Mojito which is too classic looking bike (like a lambretta) so wearing a full face helmet does spoil the classic look. As for boots, they are a must coz feet really get punished most. A leather jacket is what I usually wear, but no armor at the moment. The weather here is too humid for a thick armor, more so when waiting in trafic. For jackets' choices you can stroll at Regina Jln Besar. they do have several choices on display to try on, as well as boots.Have a good time and enjoy your ride
  15. As far as I know Parkway Parade no more surau. I just prayed in the stair case beside Isetan and one hair saloon (can't remember). It's rather quiet and secluded. Wudhu? Well I just had the Wudhu!
