  1. Feel sorry for the biker. Life squandered by an accident thatcould have been avoided. I saw the video of him riding on the line between 2 vehicles. He picked up speed when the car next to him also picked up speed attempting to change lane ending up in a side to side collision with the biker sliding underneath the lorry on the other side of the road. Ride safe guys.
  2. Very old question. Just do whatever your manufacturer require. Don't listen to those weird hard soft run in **** myths.
  3. Got out of that insufferable Werneck and now am in Bremen after a 5 hour drive with an Audi A3 using A7 Northwards since Sunday. I think the Autobahn and the Nordic cuisines are some redeeming features of this trip if I have to balance off the quietness and sterile life.
  4. Who's alive? I am going to die of loneliness and boredom in this God forsaken barren little town called Werneck. I thought Schweinfurt was bad, Werneck actually can kill me.

  6. Car rental in Singapore is a rip off.
  7. Show your officer the documented proof and there will be no reason why he should hold you back. In fact, they should under normal circumstances, pressurize you to PASS. Anyway, I believe many of your instructors are also motorcycle enthusiasts, having their moral support shouldn't be too hard.
  8. OH NO!!! Go get a hatch or coupe to retain your youth!! SW are for retirees.
  9. Oh TS come on... tell us something we don't know. haha...
  10. I will click 'Like' if I could.
  11. hmm... yes, I agree with you absolutely.
  12. When I am driving I hate it when I am given preferential treatment over the biker in front when I am at the petrol kiosk or while entering the car park of a shopping mall. When I am riding I hate it when I was told to leave Gateway while the rest of the cars which are obviously taking up more space remains parked. But this is the kind of discrimination we face here. It will remain a discrimination until someone raises this up in parliament. But who will do it?
  13. That is one of the stupidest thing I have ever heard. We are not Tiongs, so we don't create a scene to solve problems or send messages. With the advance digital technology, do not be surprised that you might end up in cyber space for the wrong reasons and it gives bikers a bad name. Also, on a legal perspective, it is often separated by a very thin line between verbal abuses and criminal intimidation. We will never know the possibilities and going head on with the might of a petrol chemical company is totally stupid. Never ever create a scene no matter what. Always talk nicely because creating a scene will only antagonise others and make things worse. And in the first place, I always pump myself and thank the attendants for offering before declining their offer. I've seen attendants spill petrol on the cars and bikes then tried to salvage by pouring water all over the place and even during some times, without closing the fuel cap. Prevention is better than cure. Don't get into the pickle in the first place if you don't think you can handle it. Blythe, Be wise, not reckless.
  14. From the legal perspective, both the Spec3 and ST riders are at fault. The Spec 3 rider parked on the double yellow line which is designed to keep people from parking there. It is an offence to park any vehicle there anytime. So the Spec3 rider is asking for trouble by parking there. It constitutes to an offence that warrants a fine and some points. However, instead of getting caught up by the law, the Spec3 rider got his 'due punishment' through the ST rider who failed to ride in accordance to the flow of traffic commits an offence by turning into the slip road in reverse direction. The ST rider was also 'punished accordingly' by hitting the Spec3 sustaining damages to his motorcycle. Both of the riders sustained some damages on their motorcycles but fortunately have their points intact. So justice is served for both riders. I will suggest that both riders know their position and not escalate it to the authorities. By then, both of you may be slapped with points and fine on top of the damages sustained on your bikes. Be wise, not foolhardy.
  15. Heyheyhey... don't get me into trouble. I don't know anything about finding pretty sexy women.
  16. GREAT PICS AND GREAT TRIP!!:thumb: How many hours did you spend on travelling to and fro?
  17. How about this week for some great crabs and otah at Tian Lai. I am missing the otah.
  18. The ah pek who can reel in pretty sexy women in the front passenger seat.
  19. The preload means the pre-loading of the suspending element in the case of the fuoco is the coil springs static loading. When you go to the bike, look at the lower spring seat, you can see that the spring seat can be adjusted by steps with a C wrench. This can help to compress the coil spring's static compression rate giving it lesser travel but higher resistance against compression. Higher grading dampers come with damping adjustability to helps to ensure the damping forces suit the spring pre-load condition. A layman way of describing can mean higher spring preload normally gives better handling but compromises on comfort. Nevermind, newbie or not, we all learn from each other. We're not tiongs. So we learn from each other and we don't go around telling people we are 'God of vehicles' after a short trip up to Malaysia like some ignorant arrogant tiongs do.
  20. 1.6bar front and 2.4bar rear Don't mess it up. Because the tyre pressure can affect your handling drastically. Earlier there was a tiong in Singapore who rode a fuoco for a very short time said the Fuoco is very unstable and not as good in handling compared to the MP3. Then I found that he didn't know what tyre pressure is. I almost fell off my chair. I didn't bother asking him if he knows that the preload of the shock absorbers on the fuoco can be adjusted.
  21. Because Audi lacks the prestige compared to a mercedes benz. Audi is more towards BMW. They are still a notch below Mercedes Benz. Thanks to the different marketing efforts.
  22. http://bbs.sgchinese.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=4808023&pid=48238841&page=1&extra=#pid48238841 Interesting talk.
  23. I think the threadstarter has a good idea of what is the message all these while. Nonetheless, I find that he is way much better than the Tiongs in Singapore. If you go and read what the tiongs in the Ah Tiong Car/bike clubs write in their forum and communicate with them, you will find a deeper meaning to colossal ignorant moronic incompetent arrogant imbeciles.
  24. How about Z3 huh? haha... Or the Z1. Exciting doors!!
  25. Some of you guys don't like to tune in to FM90.5
