went in by car before and saw that the gantry is short, being able to allow bikes to go in for free.

unless u r riding a goldwing, i believe all bikes shd be able to enter.

as to where to park.. i dont remember seeing any bike lots.

Central mall at Clarke Quay parking is free. Enter by the loading/unloading bay entrance, which is just next to the normal carpark entrance. There are proper bike lots inside there. :)

hey, i just saw this thread..

are you refering to Central @ Clark Quay or Central Mall at magazine road ?

http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_1315/travel_site_2498/

for central mall, it's quite weird, as Multistory carpark has to pay (long barrier)

when u come from magazine road,

but when u need to turn into Solomon street, then goto basement carpark it's free for bikes(short barrrier).

*dunno same parking management or what..

I sometimes park my red vespa in Central Mall basement carpark. No lots for bikes. Some just park in a corner but some park in car lots. Saw a nice S4 and an African Twin there.

The other day went to UE Square basement carpark. Saw beautiful bikes there like V-rod, Ducati Monster etc.

my first time went central mall was a tough one.. cos i just pass and the stupid carpark go round and round and round upway.. and i cant control my clutch well and it keep stalling.. cos my tuning low rpm gear 1 no power to climb up slope.. lol..

btw that time i go there no parking lots for bikes..(the MSCP one.. if i not wrong.. cos i went there last yr v.lng ago) but can just park anywhere.. when u wanna exit u just use the intercom and say u riding bike u wana exit but u come in tat time nv put cashcard u forget.. u tot is free entry.. then they open for u.. and viola!!

Friend, I think you're talking about the Central at Clark Quay with all the Japanese restaurants.

I was talking about Central Mall at Magazine Road near to where MoMo used to be.

Anyway, I believe there are some threads on free carparks in town. Interesting read.

Wishing everyone a happy Chinese New Year.
