Bro, I was browsing around n I saw ur thread which I felt rather funny. It seems dat U r not pretty aware of what is going on outside in the working world. I'm not trying to be funny but just wanna clear up some stuff which I cant stand reading.

 

NTU grads DONT just earn 2.2k std or 2.4k with 2ndupper or 1stclass honours. I must say this kinda pay is prob a few yr back. If i'm not wrong, u r a uni student. Maybe u havent been to IA.

 

Anyway now 1st class honours can command up to 3k for fresh NTU grad in private/Govt sector. i'm toking bout engineering. as for business, i have a friend who holds a normal degree w/o honours commanding a 2.5k in the bank sector working as accountant officer with ZERO yr experience. Maybe u might wanna do up some homework b4 u comment.

And hor your "engineering" 1st class fresh grads only command up to 3k in private/govt sector only ar? Dats abit little man. Acc. or Biz students having 1st class anytime can get much more den 3k wor...of cse depending on the schemes ya in, MA prog, MXS etc etc

 

And btw im well aware enuff of what the market is offering for accountancy n business students~lol

smu biz easier to get in? lol... too late liao. try again nx year.. anyway.. i tink smu quite difficult to get in nowadays.. my grade at most can grant an interview only... heard onli 1 out of 8 interviewed got into smu only. for most of the courses.
