Bro bigcow...

any idea if the SBK oval evo II carbon fibre slip-on for the nexus 500 will fit?

any lobang to get this slip-on?

Thanks in advance....

Hey william... it'll be great to arrange a meet up but i don't think there are many fuoco riders that are active in the forum... i know another 2 fuoco riders who are in their 50's... and they aren't computer savvy... so they probably dont know about SBF...

I'm not saying ppl in their fifties aren't computer savvy.. i'm just saying the 2 uncles i met are not computer savvy... my uncle, who is in his fifties, is the coolest IT freak i know... haha... no offence intended...

Bro william... i've had zero problems with the bike before i started doing any modding... when the problems arised just send back to ADH to rectify and zero problems after... as far as i know ADH has all the parts in stock... anyway some parts are common with the gilera runner and nexus... so don't worry...

Big Cow : "fitting is never a prob. can't fit? go Seng Kwang get them to mod it in. BUT u will never pass the Inspection. "

I know i won't pass inspection but i won't have to worry about it for at least another year... my biggest worry is that it'll screw up the fuel injection like when i fitted on the billet air filter... not sure if power commander will help though as there hasn't been anyone willing to try... any suggestions? not really keen on the 4road as i've seen a fuoco with one on already and it didn't have much improvement over the stock... thanks in advance...

i did ask many mechs regards to fitting PC on scooters. they ask me not to waste time. and i dun believe fitting an after-market air filter will screw up the FI.

hi to all the MP3 rider - good morning

i am new here and have not own any MP3 yet

BTW...may i know a few thing about the MP3...since i am in my thought of trying to get 1;

1> its is hard to maint ?

( get some one to conduct regular maint or service some break down issue)

2> is the running cost of this bike high ?

what i mean is that "break down often" for bike that is 1-2 yrs old ?

3> shop around in spore is not familiar to conduct maint on this bike right ?

4> is MP3 -250cc and 400cc or the 500cc do they have any road advantages riding in spore ?

bec i have been reading this blog and many other fm Europe ...i found that its carry certain amount of mechanic wear and tear part which need attention and also its is costly ---so to some degree the manufacturer still fine tunning those small pocket issue

I have seen this bike very very common all over in Paris ( usually 25-400 cc) / germany ...bec of the city parking issue is not so much available for cars and alos its ois very expensive so many of them prefer riding than driving...

some of them have even mod with some shelter that serve them well for moderate light rain ....

thanks in advance for any possible advise-if any expert can advise me on this few concern

The main problem was that i was running very lean with extra air intake from the billet air filter... but without PC how to tune the FI? after fitting on the billet air filter i had problems with idling when coming to a stop... send to ADH... they say the problem is with the FI all clogged up...

have you seen any other fuoco's or mp3's with open pod air filters?

so far i have yet to see any with open pod air filters, mostly using stock..

How about a meet up tonight at 9pm at Sheng Siong Jalan Bahar. Parking is very cheap and plenty over there. Bring along your passport. We may enter Malaysia if the crowd is enthusiastic about the idea.

Seriously, I have not tried the top speed yet. The bike has never entered malaysia. But the book states that the top speed is 145km/h. It's not a speed machine. So far, the Fuoco consumes about 25km/l of fuel. The handling is sublime. Maintenance is somewhat more challenging as the bike is not as popular as a conventional 2 wheel. At the moment, apart from the usual agent, I know Ah Boon (the famous class 2 specialist) who recently joined Global motor in Paya Ubi has the official repair manual not the user's manual. I also have a copy of it.
