Honda Neowing and Yamaha new gen trike. Yikes??? i am reallyng hoping for the Neowing. Engine and chassis wise look like new Goldwing. If what we see the price of new Goldwing nowadays almost coming to 60k, i worry if neowing will cost more than 60k. if so, i will stick to getting a second hand YAMAHA-01GEN-CONCEPT-TRIKE-Front.jpg61758_NEOWING-1024x682.jpgcan am spyder

THATS what i thought. if Honda really make it into production, we probably can see this on our shore 3-4 years time. seeing as there are actually many Goldwing owners, i wouldnt be surprised if it is really in demand. except maybe if they go riding to Malaysia and need to pay the toll for the Neowing like the Can am spyder, then maybe buyers will think twice

I don't need to think twice... if Honda going to put it into production and .... a very big AND.... LTA allowed it to be registered here, I will be the first in line.... shaft final drive, hybrid flat four engine and tilting reverse trike.... I'm all for it....

Last I heard, LTA doesn't allow the Can Am Spyder RT to be brought in anymore... only the RS and ST models...

no wonder we dont see the RT on the road. basically its the same as the other model except the nice rear box and seat. while the technology for the neowing is probably similar to goldwing, i am left wondering how in the world they can make the bike tilt with such weight/engine

Posted

The riding position of the RTs is more upright than the RS and ST, hence more comfortable for long distance travels... and of course the greater amount of storage space.... those who want must get it pre-owned now....

I think the purpose of the Neowing is not to replace the Goldwing, but rather a test mule to challenge the Spyder... because the main wishes of Spyder owners elsewhere are 1) leaning, 2) shaft final drive, 3) range.... all these are taken care of in the Neowing...

Heavy weight/engine configuration can still tilt/lean but the mechanisms may not last...
