I saw the new 125z-r along one of the shops in serangoon road, towards lavender road. I forgot the name of the shop, all i remember it had a blue signboard, with "bike point" or something and they carry some arai helmets inside. The shop's general area is very close to bike production, so might as well walk around the area first..

i dont get why anyone would want to ride a 125z. the entire concept of the bike is an enigma.

marketing bike? nope. it sucks petrol and 2t.

race bike? its a freaking moped. the only race its going to see is the kallang cub race.

fast? please. its another one of those bikes that like to overstate their speed. 80kph on the meter? nope. its really 70. 150kph? more like 120. KRs do that too, but not to the level where the 125z is concerned. it overstates the speed so much... its wiser to just ignore the speedometer and just gauge by the cars zooming past you.

racing marketing bike?

honestly, someone please tell me whats the appeal of the 125z?

Bajaj Pulsar 180 - UG3 (2007 - )

Suzuki GSXR-400 (2008 - 2009)

Piaggio Vespa GT 200L (2009 - 2011)

Yamaha YBX 125 (2010 - )

Yamaha FZ S1 '05 (2011 - )

that post sounds really familiar, i seem to have read it before somewhere..

anyway, there are a myriad of reasons, i wont even try to list them.

one man's meat is another's poison. for example i can't understand why people smoke, and neither do i see the benefits of smoking, but i dont decry their choice.

its not always about fuel economy, its not always about speed.
