i bought my bike from bike shop last yr MAY and insurance going to end soon.. they will auto renew the insurance or will ask mi first? cos wanna switch company.... currently is AXA

 

any pro on this matter?

If they 'auto-renew', then how you 'auto-pay'? The shop got your bank account details?

insurance will not auto renew... you have to trigger the renewal process.

 

i'm not sure whats the reason why you wish to switch insurance coy.

 

but do establish the 'new' rates with the new coy before you decide to change.

 

transfer NCD takes time... so you might pay in full first... then get a refund.

NCD = No Claims Discount

 

Anyway, you'll have to do it yourself. If the bike is more than 3 years old already, or you need to go for a Vehicle Inspection, do the inspection first, then bring the Inspection Certificate along to renew your Insurance.
