I'm not on anybody's side. I'll let you guys fight it out and when you guys are tired and worn out, then I'll jump right in and finish you all. I'm nobody's manager but you appointed yourself to be my guardian angel, remember? So, keep a lookout and do all the dirty work for me.

Anyway, my monster was fix up in S'pore by d agent some more tat Y I'm damn pissed off. Anyway, wat is past is d past. We shall look forward for more biking event. I dun mind coming out wif u guys but must see my appointment date cos I would be rather busy due to tight schedule.

 

Once d cafe is fully done up, I would like to invite u guys come over for a drinks. Show U guys wat is good wines n good desert. Give u guys 10% discount....

TOTALLY AGREE about stoppers.... and tyres. How many times have you seen people who spend $$$ for more ponies only to stinge on brakes and tyres... how are you gonna stop that rocketship.

After tat, We went to do a hard run in when d bike is done up. Abt 12 weeks later, which is 3 mths later, my piston gave way, 1 piston was being scattered into tiny piece n luckily d other piston is working at d speed of 180km/h. If d 2 piston gave way at d same time, I might not be here typing at all. This is Y, after this incident, I support MS conculsion.

I truely emphatize with you here. Scary incident and lousy "returns" from your mod.

But before we point the finger at hard breaking in almost become a heart breaker for you, consider these...

what is your original capacity..400cc??..900cc?

what is the overbore capacity?

what is the compression you were running after the big bore?

did you do any fueling changes?? otherwise you'd be running lean

at 180kmh... you'd be in the upper regions of your rev range... bike is running hard... for how long? lean burn makes holes in pistons... causes the aluminum to literally disintergrate as you have, so clearly,  described... that is probably your problem with the monster (literally, haha, pun intended).. maybe not the break-in method..

In fact, I was like WW supporting hard run in all d way n dun believe in slow run in. But after this incident 4 years back, I stopped supporting hard run in but to soft run in. Soft run in will lesser d wear n tear parts than hard run in. Tat is an 100%. My K2 is an good example, tat Y I stil dun wan to sell, up to nw even my wife is complainting abt giving up biking to CAR 100%. I got 2 cars at hm but i only drive either 1 of them in d day time, I still prefer biking due to d passion I have. WW, I'm not young anymore, perhaps in chinese they is a words saying, "I eat more salt than rice than U".

Hmmm... OK... I see your concern for the younger riders... me too.... I advocate safe and defensive riding..ermmm, not necessarily slow, but fast in a relative safe way.

Age has nothing to do with riding ability or skill, age makes you more aware of your own mortality, and that, IS A GOOD THING... didn't we all think we were invincible when we were 18... we have a lot to learn from all, young or old...

If age were a criteria, can someone tell Rossi to stop beating the older more experience riders, please.

Many of the bikers here also ride for passion

On a separate note, I am a selfish ba****d, haha, I am brain-washing my kids that motorcycles are evil, dangerous... sorry lah... it is really much worse today on the roads than it was 20 years ago.. probably even worse by the time my son & daughter can get a license, so I understand where your wifey is coming from... same here man!!

As long as man possesses egos, there is no such thing as prevailing peace. Offend him a little and the gloves are up and ready. Even after 2 world wars, wars are still raging now in the Middle East. No wars on a huge scale but still wars nonetheless.

As for women ruling the world, better not. Women are influenced by the heart and emotions. If women rule the world, we guys will be damn jialat. Don't label me MCP just for saying this. If I were to explain why, one whole day also cannot finish...
