btw the price i mentioned was wat bike shops quoted abt a mth ago wen i asked for a fren...no doubt there will be gd bargains as n wen available e.g owners selling at trade in prices. depending on the cases...i personally got a gd bargain on my previous bike so I know wat u mean.BUT to come across such a gd bargain i guess either depend on ur luck if ders one selling unless u willing to wait.. models oso play a part i believe...wether u prefer carb or FI..if asked to choose btwn 08 spec3 or revo personally i'd take spec3.again its up to individual choices :)

Hi guys currently taking 2A now. Just wondering, normally how much is the insurance for a 22YO guy that just passed TP for 2A? Cause i dk how they calculate, whether going by years of riding experience in 2A sense or the entire bike riding years since passing of 2B? Havent got a chance to go down shop or call them cause always in camp. If going by years of experience from 2B i got coming 2 years in December. Im more concerned of the insurance than the cost of the bike itself at the moment...

Just bought REVO from shop around 2 months ago, machine price is around 11.5k for FBC.

Just some feedback, maybe can put into consideration. Have rode Spec 3 for like 5 years everyday rain or shine, my 2 months with REVO seems alright. handling not much diff, but somehow REVO feels shorter. For responds and pickup is good, even in stock (my previous Spec 3 is using Yoshi full system) but maybe cos bike newer.

There's only one problem to me bout REVO, tank area too hot after even 20+ mins ride. Some ppl say REVO is like that, does anyone face this problem also?

BTW: Most acc for REVO is stand alone, meaning what might work for Spec 1 to 3 may not fit on REVO.

Just sharing my thoughts for those ppl headache on what to buy:

If you looking for a stable, reliable yet trendy bike, get a super 4. If you want speed and performance, get a class 2 bike, dont waste time and money to mod a 400cc and expect it to outrun a 800 cc bike.

Cheers!

Yup. Stock Revo hot tank can boil the egg. So need to keep at least half tank petrol to reduce the heat. Chg the coolant to engine ice also can improve the engine heat. The engine so hot bcoz Revo engine block don't hav cooling fins like spec3.

Generally fi engine are runs hotter due to the better efficiency in burning fuel to produce better exhaust emisson. I agree on changing to engine ice to improve on the cooling efficiency on these hot fi engines. One way to reduce the heat is to stick some aluminum ducting tape underneath the tank. Can get at most hardware shops and use tankbra to reduce the heat transfer from tank to crotch and tighs.

Hi all.

Checking the price for my Super 4 Spec 3, year of manufacture should be 2005, got it in '06. Mileage quite good since I hardly use it for much till now, letting go because of that and financial issues. I would like to know the possible price I should be letting it go at, advice from others who are currently in the know would be much appreciated since I have been out of this for years. Thanks!

Hi PantherRH wat colour is ur bike ?

Do and die, don't ask why , and u will SURVIVE!

I would go for this - Spec 3 coe left 3 yrs - $8.5K with blueflame endcan & new paintwork.

I personally would not go for bikes that have renew COE as there are many maintanance issues involve. Unless you are a trained mechanic, you cannot really tell if the bike is ok or not. I also would not go things that have no cert as this would mean more problem when it comes to yearly inspection.
