hey X-ilED, any idea how to do a rear disc conversion for draggy400?i believe only those above 1000cc gets rear disc.

yup. read somewhere that the 1100 rear rims are a direct fit. but.... worthy to do the conversion or notis up to the owner.. pricing for jap parts on ebay will kill u... placing order from local agents will kill you. scrapyards wont have this.. usually they export. hahah.. unless u willing to spend close to a thousand on 1 SPOKE rim with disc brake hubs... and dun forget.... u still needa get the calipers.....

Hi hi...Nojam...I guess what X-ilED is trying to tell you is to watch what you are saying bro...Only if you know what you are talking about and be sure of it, then you say it...Nothing to do with sensitivity or anything like that but it's all a matter of being sure of what you have to say, that's all bro...Cheers and since you say that you are enlisting, good luck bro...

i usually say what's on my mind and besides, this is a forum. if anyone of you haven't notice, my previous post was meant to be just a joke.

and i cant be like you.. always hihi cheers hihi cheers to everyone. i'm not out to offend anyone and what i said has nothing to do with "watching what i say" because it was a JOKE. but i'm sure X-ilED understand, thus his reply.

Hi hi...Nojam...Maybe you take things or talk about things without any intentions but down the road after you've put enough mileage on your license, you'll understand what is a JOKE and what's NOT...Most of the riders here in this forum have plenty of mileage put into their licenses and some things can't be taken lightly...Seems like you've learnt something from this experience and it's good for you to take this as a positive note...Yes it is a forum for all but there's a section if you also can notice (JUST SCROLL DOWN ALL OF THE TITLES AND YOU'LL FIND THE THREAD), where you can input your so-called JOKES into that thread for it is the correct place to talk C*%# and so forth...Respect for peps like X-ilED and the rest coz it takes number of years to get to where they are my good friend...and CHEERS, which means PEACE BE UNTO YOU...

depends on what u term "effective". it does its job, its stops the bike definately. compared with sportsbike brakes of cos its no match for it... but since the bike is not a crotch rocket.. i dun think it needs crotch rocket level braking systems. ultimately, the question u should ask yourself is what at what speed do u wanna go such that the brake wont fail. if the bike is slow enough, u can even stop it WITHOUT brakes but using your feet... so effective brakes are largely dependent on the riders style.

hmm..true..i'm just afraid if i do convert it, then it might have too effective a system like phantom, cause fishtailing easily.

anyway,

to all dragstar members/owners...i managed to download dragstar650cc owners and service manual.(soft copy english) drop me a pm if u need it.

i see.. if thats the case then i suggest i leave this mod till u really too much money and dunno where else to spend.. hahah.. i suppose u are riding a dragstar currently so u should be able to get what i;m talking about when i said the brakes are enough to stop the bike... jus remember its a cruiser... u dun need to wack top speed with this bike... without this need.. i think just about any proper braking system would do good.

raphael, i'm pretty sure i saw a car sporting a very similar paintwork on his car's bonnet as your avatar picture... a flaming skull picture. then again, i might be wrong since they're so many versions of ghostrider. haha.

seriously armofpeace, i know that your intentions are good. but what i said... probably has nothing to do with "putting mileage on my license". i was making a joke out of the poster because "we(as in singaporeans)" are always complaining(maybe not the right word here) about uncle sam catching modded bikes and how modding is disallowed in singapore.

I made the post in here because the poster was posted in this thread and not the OTHER one. and it was just a very random comment. X-ilED merely replied with the post summarised into "If we dare to mod, we are not afraid of being caught." i believe that he just wanted to tell everyone that he got what it takes and he's willing to go all out for his passion... seriously...

Hi hi...Nojam...Well now you know that there are riders who are very serious about certain issues with regards to the motorcycling industry...And i guess the air has been cleared for you, ya...I've got nothing personal about it but it's just that there are remarks in this forum that are sometimes not necessary to be mentioned out as it is already understood by all that if you modify your bike, it is illegal by law...And if you want to go ahead with it, you take the consequences, that's all...So, it's good that yo've learnt something here ya...Cheers...
