my friend bought his bike at s....... mthly installment $145 for 30mths.downpayment 850$.class 2b honda sp.

 

 

 

145 X 30 = $4350

downpayment $850

total= 4350 + 850 = $5200

for a 2nd hand FS plate.

spdway always chop ppl in in bike purchase and repairs.... new bike purchase go to other shops like mah and looi, repairs go to hua chin (just beside speedway) or racewerks at bt merah.

 

if u stay west side lah.

 

It might not be the case,SW quote me abt $200 plus for repair,i refused....go over to HC,the boss quote me $190 plus....wah i was delighted,let him repair my bike immediately.Nex day when i collect bike the boss changed his words charged me $200 plus which is no diff from speedway....ppl judged for urself...

i just brought another bike from another shop and pay 800 to speedway for early settlement..

which i think it reasonable...

Jus wanna share me experience with this bike shop Speedway... Bought a bike frm them, at 1st they quote 14500. and take in my old bike at 6000. As this is the best deal I have after survey. so I deal with them. we went up and sign all docu, then came the killer after signing, there is a 5% gst o top of everything else... (they told me no hidden and no extra charge b4 I sign) They say gst is no hidden or extra, it is known that it had to be paid for. WHen I refuse, they told me that i had to pay for the COE which they had place the bid for when I sign the deal. which is still unknown price. In e end, I have to pay extra 2000 and the bike cost abt 16000 after interest. haiz with the extra 2000k I can get a 1000cc at other bike shop.

i brought a brand new bike...

was qouted so low.

i think very reasonable...

then i say ok..

like you...

went upstair sign everything..

then come in the GST.

hahaha

the price ended up the same as market.. so i deal with them..

 

but i still dun understand that why used bike gor GST!!

brand new bike understandable ma..

do they really summit the money to goverment?

 

2 year later i sell my bike to other shop i have to pay 800dollars.. for early settlement..

I dealt my KR with Manager Norman. Ok, nice chap so far and this old mechanic..super friendly and taught me some tricks to save my KR from mechanical disaster

Another thing to mention, most bike shops do somehow chop us or f...k us in ways which we overlooked. its a norm thing. one thing i learnt the hard way, just get the bike and f..k from that shop..watever the shop is

Sales man over there promised to fix my bike in 2weeks (including new spray) after i deposit the money($500).

 

After i deposit the money. the story changed~ they take forever to do the bike.

 

give me stupid reasons like " need photo of the ideal bike i wan so tat the incharge can spray it(which is a very common paint) , spray out of colour waiting for the colour to come"

 

so ya. delay and delay~ two weeks later i ring them. they said waitinf for spray to come. and didnt even touch the bloodly bike.

 

i dun understand why they wan to waste both mine and their time.

so guys hope u guys OPEN ur eyes and see which shop to buy from. = (

i sell my bike to other shop i have to pay 800 + 250 dollars.. for early settlement n admin fees (they say one)..

my advise is juz sell back to the shop..or u kenna chop:clapping:

Hi^5 to you....victim too... promised to change fairings, respray and change exhaust for 750. In the end, lots of black marks (respray white), exhaust din change...keep on di gong... and they drained all my petrol out.... so sad... so is Hua Chin a better choice for servicing?

Drop by with a foul PGM 4 plug, ask them for NGK R(Normal plugs by the way with smaller tip), quote me $18 for 2..Ask them to change, the boss ask the mechanic how much for labour, mechanic take a look & say this bike very difficult to change, request $25 labour, i F the boss upside down and told them i can change both for under 10mins removing just 1 single side panel..

monday paid deposit for bike. told me fri/sat can collect.

sat go down,told me monday can collect,finance okay left servicing.

monday called,told me inspection buay pass,cant transfer.

monday went down told them i checked with lta,no nid inspection,then how to inspection buay pass.then told me finance got problem and previous owner there got problem,thats why cant transfer.say can collect this week.

They promise this and that before sales but after paid down payment, things changed drastically...Waited for months to get my new bike, my gift also didn't give..saleman also attitude prob.. As far as possible, try to avoid going unless otherwise.

heard many case like yourself from SW... my advise is, next time you buy a bike, ask them for OTR price... every charges in except for interest on loan...

then from there you compare to other shops...

i tink SW is a better deal for price, compared to most shop. i bought 2 bikes from them n they are veri good price. but the paperwork takes fxxxxx long. they need to plant seed, chop down tree to make paper b4 they could even start. all in need around 50 years.

 

seriously i tink it shld be called SLOWWAY instead, but pricewise i tink good. unless u have patience, i tink its a gd place to buy bike.

if can, dont buy from them, they will delay everything or change what they said after you pay your money. thats my experience. if you want cheaper bike can go to Bike Production, they give a good price.

i said good price, not best in sg mah....but i tink one of the slowest in terms of paperwork. neway not onli SW, all bikeshops exists to make profit mah... i chop my c0ck head if any bikeshop in singapore NEVER chop customers b4. customers are humans, n not everybody can be pleased.

Mine was $800 for my 2002 phantom(from different shop)...i think this is just a gimmick..to earn their extra financial..
