pls read this regarding fuel saving products like vs n broquet;

http://www.fuelsaving.info/debunk.htm

i've also tried broquet n below r my personal findings:

1) it is a world war two invention, fuel quality is not good then but really bad.

2) the one whom invented it doesn't know how it works but it can be lead tat was in it. assume lead was in it then, it is a pollutant n ban for use today.

3) i have done fc monitoring n found tat it doesn't save fuel. it still the same fc as b4, placebo effect on the first time of use.

4) those whom have claimed it works based on fuel gauge r misled by positive displacement. wat this meant is the bottom shape of the tank is narrower than the top portion thus the fuel gauge will read more when u displace more space, fuel level will goes up. if u dun understand go back to ur science class in secondary school.

5) if it claimed to be working, dun u think USA (largest fuel consumers) n rest of the world will be using it instead they were landed more law suit. in sillypore, we dun have consumer protections as in USA. here we have to prove them wrong whereas in USA, product manufacturers have to prove it function scientifically.

I've a broquet (different brand) in my fuel tank. It does seem to save fuel, however it seems to retard the process of the fuel degrading.

I ride my bikes about once a month so fuel stays in tank for a long time. I notice that old fuel 'got less power' than fresh fuel. Then the 'broquet' was given to me to try. I find that the difference in 'power' was less although still notable.

I will not pay for such device for the high price it is selling.

if u notice tat nite n day, dry n wet, hot n cold rides give power differences.

track ur fuel consumptions then u will know whether is a fuel saver, it's not.

can u explain in scientific terms how broquet works?

old fuel in ur tank will of course degenerate due to oxidation.

HAHA! OEM?

That's one thing hard to find in SG.

If its that's easy, it wldn't take me this long just to find the sprocs.

Anyway, can you share your experience with the loosening screws so that I can look out for that in the future?

When the bike was new, I have lost 5 screws in a week. from the seat mount to the pillion foot peg. After leaving the bike with Mah for a week problem solved... no more loose screws.

that's only the screws issue.

hey something came across my mine. Do you or anyone here knows whether it's easy to put side boxes on our MA? Or do we need to order the brackets from Europe?

One more thing... Anyway to smoothen our ride other then changing the sprocs and use the volt stabilizer?

Care to share?
