When coming back homez,...

Got wet due to slight showerz and the jamz was horrible,...

Got seperated & almozt hit a jb car,...

Due to cutting to my lane,...

Not sure whee Vector 1 is. Went to Mah earlier, but all shops are closed today, but 219 shop is open.

I bought my RR4 from that shop. All Arais should come with warranty. My side pod popped off. I went back to claim, took my receipt there. They tried to deny initially, cause the receipt says Chiap Lee. When you swipe card at 219, somehow Chiap Lee's name comes out from the receipt, suggesting they may somehow be linked. Hell, they even told me I was the 1st one to get that helmet in S'pore as it just arrived. They didn't have it in their shop and this guy took his bicycle to some other shop to get it for me. I suspect they went to Chiap Lee.

 

Lame a s s young punk there tried to "convince me" I didn't buy my helmet from their shop. I shouldn't have been so nice to just demand for the pods. I should've told them I wanted to buy a new helmet, have them hand me a new helmet and just left.

 

That will teach them not to f u c k around with their customers.

 

I suggest you to take your money elsewhere.

219 shop are getting their stocks from Chiap Lee at Serangoon Road

Same goes to the one near Regina they are carrying same products

Dunno their Arai raincoat genuine or not?

As far as I know Arai never had raincoats or mesh jackets either

Can anyone clarify?

They don't look genuine to me.

 

No wonder I thought your gf looks a bit familiar. Come to think of it, she does has a slight resemblence to Siti Nurhaliza.

Yup dats what I heard from other people too but I dont find any resemblence leh:confused:

To my opinion try to avoid arai

Have used 4 arai up to date cos I always tot they are more superior from Shoei

But I was wrong, Shoei used to be heavy in weight and the design is not appealing

But now they have chaged that

Personally I think it Shoei has better aerodynamics and better linings

As for arai it has nice graphics but lousy linings

Feels hotter and the cushion linings were of lower quality

Couldnt last compare to Shoei

Visor assembly system are better easier to pop in and out unlike arai you gotta spread it wide open left and right and be careful cos you might break it

Then again its up to individual preference this is just my opinion

I dont promote Shoei or affilliated to them hope my opinion helps:thumb:

LD, I second what Eldo's opinion on Arai. They're like M$, all marketing and hype. I was so unhappy with my Arai I actually found time to write to them and tell them how inferior their helmet is compared to Shoei.

 

Just by opening and closing the visor, the side pods scratches the visor. Fundamental error in design. Self destruction through normal usage. :nono:
