My mech, I like him, he's careful. Although he hasn't installed undertails pipes before, he certainly work like he's a natural. Of course, he's got supervision from the most meticulous guy.

Ahhh. The mufflers are the same, but the mid pipe is different. But essentially they look the same.

Juzt wondering,....

Whatz the main difference between modelz 2004, 2005, & 2006,....

Seemz that the newer modelz they have more horsepower rite,....

So,...

Doez that mean if a straight road drag,...

A 2004 model will be left behind,...???

04 & 05 are essentially the same model. 06 should be slightly faster.

While on the way to bike shop the bike died 3 times.

The first 2 i managed to restart back from the bike's momentum but the third..

everything went flat.so had to push a good 3 -4 km to bike shop...

Make sure you go back to BS to get the 2nd gen coil. If you take from other shops, make sure that part can be traced back to BS, cos if it burns again, you can get BS to replace.

Rommel is going to collect signatures or something similar to build a case against BS. Any updates bro?

warning signs?? i think like what they have said in the past...

when starting , it needs extra cranking and the start up sounded "weak".

the neutral lights will also blink when starting.

i dun noe if this is true as a symptom : while riding to bike shop , the neutral and reserved lights will come on and off and then ur display panel will go blank..

i hope this helps...

is there anything to curb this occuring problem on our bikes??it seems like an SOP for the coil to be burned.. :help: :help:

Install a voltmeter for early detection

Get those digital ones

I got mine installed so I know if it's charging or not

If it's not charging/ battery power low the unit will keep beeping

It saves you from being stranded somewhere at least

Used to push my blade a couple of times when I just got it cos it ran out of fuel

It felt freaking heavy after you clock some distance

Never gonna repeat such feat anymore:cheeky:

BS told me the new coils are from a different supplier, should solve the problem. I term this the 2nd generation coil.

The coils given to suppliers usually come from BS, so these suppliers must have invoices to show that they bought the coils from BS. But there is nothing to stop the dealers from sourcing the coils themselves. So they may have BS coils and non BS coils.

To trace the BS coils that come from BS is very difficult, so my advise is, if you want a coil, go to BS. And make sure you keep the receipt.

Oh, if your bike is parallel import, good luck.

I've dealth with them many times, I know their modus operandi.

Should have, since their parts should have warranty.
