Tashi, the road to cameroon from ipoh has one area where there are big machinery running around and mud/sand/dirt covering the area. Just came back from cameroon last wed. Be sure to reach the top before dark, it's damn irritating after dark to scan the road for possible low side factor. Oh and that bloody hump, there're 2 bloody hump on that area that caught me off guard. Ride safe, it was raining all the way from cameroon back to sg.

Thank you Smurf, good look out. :thumb:

Do you have any pix of the trip you can share with us? It's been many years since I've last gone up.

I'll postpone my Cameron trip till year end. I'll just hit KL this Thu. I heard an ang mo riding an R1 was decapitated at the McDonald Hwy.

Check out the riding shoes from Puma.

http://motorsport.puma.com/moto/

I was looking for "1000", but I found a "Highside" model going for $99 only. Usual price is $169. The Highside looks like the Flat2 on the website, only it's not so high. And it's got orange strip in the front. Very nice looking.

It's a very good buy.

Day by day, I'm feeling the Michelin Pilot Power is the worst tyre I've ever fitted on the Blade. The 250 front and 290 rear recommended pressure is slippery even on dry roads. 240 front and 280 rear is better.

Anyone with experiences on the new 2CT?

OK, mark your calendars boys. We’ve all worked very hard the whole year. We deserve to be pampered.

This is the 16 -17 Dec Bukit Tinggi trip we were talking about. Perhaps Friday night can leave for KL, so we can hit the McDonald Hwy early on Sat morning.

Since Bukit Tinggi is close to Genting, we could go there and win some money.

We can discuss again, but the rooms will have to be booked quickly. It’s Dec holiday season.

Some pix to whet your appetite.

Things to bring: Visor / sunglass, lightweight jacket, head sock / beanie (you'll have to wear their helmets)

Things not to do: Do not bring loose items while flying, do not take out your camera, handphone ... (loose items may fly to the back and take out the propeller), if someone drops something near the plane, do not go help (someone nearly had his head sliced off once), if the engine dies while in flight, do not jump off the plane (not that it had happened, the plane will glide safely, unless you're Ronald)

Action Item: Print out and fill up Indemnity Form before going, that will save time on all the admin work when we arrive.

Some updates from Boon Siew on the coil issue.

They already have records on those with coil issues. For parallel import bikes, you’re invited to write in as well. So what are you waiting for?

For 06 models, so far, there has been only 1 report worldwide on coil issue. No prizes for correct guess.

Perhaps I should keep my Blade if the new coil and mag flywheel solves the issue. After all, it is the only Blade with (here comes that word again) UNPRECEDENTED Arrow permit.

I guess would be buyers of the Blade should consider an agent bike, rather than a PI bike. I should check with the US Bladers to see if anyone has hit the coil issue on the 06.

Don't forget to read the FAQ.

Depending on what time we finish, it's either breakfast at Agneey's or lunch at PTP kelong.

KNN, just now went to hold another summit at Shangri La. Took out my card to pay, waiter told me couldn't go through. Just found out I was a victim of fraud. Over 5k!! On my 10th anniversary with Agustina.

Did anyone see Max's letter in today's Straits Times? He wrote his views on traffic congestion and biking.
