Mmm hmm, it is said about 80% of the ring sealing takes place in the first hour of running the engine, the last 20% of the process takes a longer time.

Again, it's very subjective. Perhaps the remaining 20% can be completed in 500km, most people give it a while longer, about 3,000km, I went with 4,500km if I remembered correctly.

Same as yours, 500km.

Mineral oil should be around $8 to $10 I think. Don't use semi-syn.

Filter around $12 or $13.

lying Blades Outing

Date: 11 November 2006

Meetup: GP Esso @ 6:20am, 6:30am moving off, first flight at 6:45am.

Price: RM90 for 15 mins flight. (Reduced from RM125)

Events: Flying, drag racing, breakfast at Agneey's or lunch at PTP kelong (depending on when we finish).

Things to bring: Visor / sunglass, lightweight jacket, head sock / beanie (you'll have to wear their helmets)

Things not to do: Do not bring loose items while flying, do not take out your camera, handphone ... (loose items may fly to the back and take out the propeller), if someone drops something near the plane, do not go help (someone nearly had his head sliced off once), if the engine dies while in flight, do not jump off the plane (not that it had happened, the plane will glide safely, unless you're Ronald)

Action Item: Print out and fill up Indemnity Form (in pg 248 of this thread) before going, that will save time on all the admin work when we arrive.
