I felt that R1 is too sportsbike to my liking while also the design with the underseat exhaust looks ugly to me. The Ducati is out of my price range, would rather pay for a weekend car and K7 than consider Ducati. I also find the Kawasaki ZX10R's design not to my liking.

K7 looks like it can be toured on while I would always loved twin exhaust at both side instead of underseat. I think I would want to try the different brands of sportsbike before I quit riding b4 year 2041 with Rommel after riding 1 yr on a Harley. :cheeky:

After the terrible trashing that me and Rommel got on Saturday morning while riding with Snailgun's 929, I think I definately need a sportsbike in order to at least tried to keep up the pace. It is definately the rider prowess. Ha ha.

Oh no, beagle is going to be real mad....

chinggu- thanks alot i am going to f them soon i get there.

ronald- ya man getting very mad now,$10 is very big issue for me.

Hey dudes wats up

Juz came back home at 8

Had fun going to Betong then Phuket

Losta twisties almost went straight to one of the corners

Too many twisties until blur

Always nice to be back in phuket

Rented a Yamaha nuovo there went around explore the island

Gd news is my coil didnt burn there

So I can conclude Honda might have just solved the problem

Charging was normal and stable from 13.5V to 14V

At one moment it shot up to 15v for a long period scared the sh*t outta me

Later it got down back to 13.5v

Mileage now is at 29K so far so good

Will post pics on my multiply website for everyone to see

Let you guys know when i'm done

In the meantime stay tuned

Eldo, welcome back! Glad you're back in 1 piece. When you hit about 16,000km on the new coil and flywheel, and there's no issue, that should be good news.

So far I have hit another 3,000km on the new coil and flywheel.

In the meantime, Honda Europe is asking for feedback on the new 2007 600RR model in the URL below.

Take some time to complete the survey, you will need to pick an EU country tho. Well, since we're using EU bikes, no harm.

I think the new 600RR looks fugly from the side. They're trying to copy the new R6 with the cut side-fairing look, it somehow gives the new 600rr the look of a limping old man.

Also there's no harm telling them in the survey that all of us know of the coil issue on the 1000RR and that they should fix it.

Also the shape of the signal lights. It's already 10 years old. Can't they do integrated signal lights?

Also the mirrors doesn't click into place like the Suzuki. Everytime some idiot knocks my mirror, I have to spend 5 mins making the left equal the right. This is something that makes my blood boil.

5 spoke Y styled wheels like Marchesini pls, with gold, lots of gold, not matt gold like the 07 tri color, but anodized gold like Tamburini, gold brake calipers and gold forks.

er... nice survey... do you think Honda will make the changes according to consumer preference for next year?

I think so. That's the purpose of surveys. And if enough ppl tell them that the cut fairing, plastic bit on the lower tank, signal lights are fugly, they will listen.

Somehow the 600RR is always like a test bed to build a better 1000RR.

Thks Din, Tashi nice to be back home

Miss you guys

After riding for 2900 km in total my ass really hurts

I sure do hope there wouldnt be any coil issues after this with my bike

It had survived treacherous conditions of Thai roads and running more than 16000km with this coil and trip to Phuket

Hope so, other than the HESD, nothing else to look forward to, really. Been ages since major improvements had been made to both the 6 & litre bikes, while other model & makes have new make-over & looks.

Ronald, your sexy body should’ve gotten used to the riding posture by now. May I recommend you the kung fu massage I had sometime back. Only $70. I don’t get commission. I had the best sleep in years after I had that. Thanks for the help. My card was delivered today. Tonight will order my Dainese stuffs already.

LD, considering the coil issue is fixed, $15k is too little. :cheeky:

Hi Didi, welcome to the FireBladers domain. We have a wealth of information to share and lots of roads to conquer. Make yourself at home.

*Tashi pours Didi a cup of chai* (Whoa, just like in IRC.)

No, we’re going to Bt. Tinggi, no plans for Sepang. But you’re welcome to join us for satay this Sat, meeting at 8pm GP Esso.

I miss the satay guys. Almost a month I have not eaten it. :hungry:

Eno, no, I’m not from NCF.

I went to recce a place to hold the next summit. We must hold another one urgently to discuss why Beagle shouldn’t have spent $600 on a pair of fugly CF mirrors. There’s this Japanese restaurant, on Sunday 12 noon onwards, they serve ala carte buffet for $52+++. Wagyu beef is on the menu. :hungry:
