hmmm. your aftermarket stuffs actually give better fc huh...

what could have cause my fc to be so bad?

If PC3 is on the wrong settin i think the FC will make different. Or you want more power on your low and mid power this will oso cause the problem.

2. So should I start my bike and go for a cuppa while it warms up, or just ride off gently?

Open to debate. Some prefer to leave the bike idling for a miunte or so before riding away. The idea is that letting the engine idle places minimum stress on the cold, poorly lubricated components and gives oil a chance to circulate and protect them.

The other school of thought is that it's best to ride away gently as soon as you start the bike, to burn off any excess fuel, as leaving unburnt petrol in the bores could cause damage. All engines need more fuel in the mixure to start (bikes with carburettors had a choke to achieve this, fuel injected bikes take care of it themselves). However, petrol is a very effective de-greaser and if any is left unburnt in the cylinder it can wash the oil from the bores, leaving the pistons scraping along them. This is only an issue at start up, when the engine is running rich. When it's warm (or the choke's off) you should have the perfect amount of juice.

no lar.. that 1 i cut and paste from the link 1... i warm up 1min++ den ride off gently.... and i really do mean gently.... coz i dont feel its good to let it run so long.. besides... waste fuel.

well depend on how u tune it...default honda bikes are on the richer side...

i tuned mine for more low n mid as i don play top speed...

at the same time adjust the air/fuel ratio accordingly...

on the dyno run leaner gives u more HP less torque...

run richer gives u less HP more torque..

its not advisable to leave the bike idling for a very long time eg. warm up.

something inside will be damaged over time.

read it in bike mags..

one stick time or ard 40++ deg slowly move off...

in europe their manual say can just ride away once start some more..

For me warm up is generally to let the internal fully expand as per when it is during the normal riding temperature. For example the normal riding temperature is 80+degree. So let just assume by then the internal had been expanded till that temperature. So by idling till around 70 degree, the internal would have been expand till about there liao.

The only reason I can think of why it is bad to idle for too long is the loading of electricity consumption on the battery and rectifier. As during idling, the generating of electricity is the lowest. It about not being able to supply the demand.

But hor, actually I don't really care much about this thing warm up thing lah :cheeky:. It just that the time I took to fold and keep my bike cover and put on my helmet, just nice hit the time the auto choke off at 70 degree lor.

To me, if bike spoil, just fix lor. Tio bor?:cheeky:

Dino and I are trying to organise a Pasir Gudang Trackday on the 19th Oct 2009, MONDAY. The timing and meetup venue to be confirm at a later date. However I am suggesting we can split into 2 groups, one going in by 1st link and the other group by 2nd link.

For those interested, just add in your name to the list first and we will discussed the detail later.

1) Dino

2) Kinwei (1st link)

3) Rstopel (1st link, only if dry)

4) Jemster (2nd link)

5) Rojryder(2nd link)

6) vsion (1st link)

Alright, my leave approved liao.. so I am going. However now I am emailing Pasir Gudang to confirm if they are open on that day or not. So keep your finger cross.

For those who doesn't know or forget, I extract some information from PG website for your infom,

1) Weekdays rate is rm35 per hour

2) Morning session for bikes start at 1030am~1130am, 1130am~1230pm. So for morning to noon, only can play 2 hours. Anyway I should be going for an hour only.

3) Minimum safety requirements for track hirer to practice on the track.

1. Leather jacket or touring jacket with shoulder and elbow guard.

2. Jeans

3. Full leather gloves

4. Leather shoes which cover ankles

5. Full face approved helmet.

So based on the timing, we got to meet up at least 9am at 1st link and maybe 830am at 2nd link. Expect to arrive PG at around 10am. So we will have around 1/2 hours to prep your bikes, put up your makeup and dresses. Just nice for 1030am session.

check with u guys... alot of ppl over here have after market pipe.... it's true that if you install a legal slip on the max out the usage or power it's better to install pc3 or without pc3 it will work as good as well.

I mean usage / power are not refering to track, more of not to waste the purpose of the item.

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?
