think i will be getting a 2nd hand 1 instead. the 1st hand 1 break down until very expensive. machine price 21k + gst 1000+ COE + registration 140 + number plate 20 = 23.5k+. All the extra charges other den the machine price i guess are already included in 2nd hand bike???

ya nice deal i guess. but think getting 2nd hand. can save around 5k. road tax included in 23.5k without iu and insurance. but think they count wrong. dont know how they count one..monthly installment count wrong. compare to fella forumer here tom kum fai which he bought 22.5k machine price(havent add in coe top up) that include everything(except iu and insurance). somemore getting 2months later den him,yet i got quoted a higher price.

Yes, 2nd hand is cheaper but u will never know the backgroud history. If you heng heng get a good bike then you got no complaint...suay suay you get a lousy bike then you will spit your saliva until dry. Think twice....

 

Unless you buy the bike from your friend that is very close n know the bike history.

 

This is my point of view...overall is still up to U. Money is yours mah....

Yo! I'm currently riding an '08 CBR1000RR & need some advice or opinions on Bazzaz Z-Fi module to Power Commander 3. Was told that Bazzaz is better coz can tune 8 injectors compared to 4 for PC3. Anyone here happens to run on Bazzaz module?

You don't really need to tune all 8 injectors. You only need to tune the 4 primary injectors. Afterall, the petrol spit out from all 8 injectors goes towards the same engine. The 4 secondary injectors only operate at mid and top end. So when the tuner tune the PC3, they already tune with the 4 secondary injector in consideration. Beside PC3 is cheaper as well.

Think the guys here have already given u tons of info for your reference..... Ultimately, everyone wants to get a good deal out of their machine and everyone's view is different in the way they look at what is of value to them.... Hence, we can only give a general guideline..... As for the final decision, it lies with u... Sometimes, thinking too much will have reverse results......As long as u find that the cost is justifiable then just go ahead and buy it.... There'll be no end for search for good deals and comparing prices...... so good luck finding a machine of yr budget and preference.....

Hmmm.... what you said is true, but how will the tuner know what level to set the 2nd set of injectors to? In terms of precision of the tuning, wouldnt Bazzaz have a better advantage over PC3 since you are able to fine tune & synch all 8 injectors? Thats what I feel personally.

hello people!!! just reserved that used cbr 1000 08! Anyone can tell me whether if the mileage meter can be reset or not because the total mileage is freaking low of 260km which i dont believe, everything look very very new except that tyre(look like went to track before(Corner to the max) 2nd hand but no IU =(

Track tyres has the distinctive shedded rubber looks on the side especially if the bike is use for track only, easier to spot.

 

I tot mileage follows ECU for most big bikes...

Its total mileage is really low. PRay hard engine no problem!!! if the mileage really 260km meaning i have to carry on run in??? cant be 1year bike havent run in finish ba...

Congrats.... mileage can't be reset.... But if u change the meter for watsoever reason then it is a different story... Anyway, u already reserved the bike... so whatever it is, just enjoy your new ride....
