Clutch recall???? Havent received any for mine leh.... Was it just a particular batch?

 

mine is registered 09 january ... probably the batch during the last quarter of dec 08. Dino also had his recall if I remember correctly. Anyway didn't make any difference.

 

By the way that was the 2nd recall already. The 1st one was to change the radiator hose clips ... something like that.

 

Think the later batches were remedied.

 

Does your engine 'makan' oil?

you need to confirm with your bike shop wether is it belong to Boon Siew then you can call up Boon Siew and ask them.

Dont scare him lah... i dont think his bike invole with 1st recall anymore. my bike register on Nov 08. During the recall i have checked with B.S regarding the hose clip issue...they reply me all have changed. So no need to worry...

i'm ok..

not much major injuries..

 

i had my tracksuit on with gloves n boots..

 

my boots wasted liaoz.

my helmet n gloves no scratches... surprisely...

bruises n muscle strains here n there... a lil abrasions on the knee..

 

was going in bmw when a wild boar smiled at my n opened her legs.. lol...

den i tried to avoid.. juz kidding...

 

truth is.. i came out turn 8 too fast.. didnt know i alrdy at 2nd gear n nv upshift..

den b4 i entered turn 9, i tried lowering one gear ( habit since my 2a , but the missed count of gearing from T4)

 

so.... kicked onto neutral gear.. den tried kicking back to gear 2 but failed..

went in gravels.. tried to cut across bmw... went down on a slope n hit a sinkhole b4 i got thrown off the bike.. n the rest is history.. haahaa

 

damn.. shld have bought a gear indicator to prevent such things..

lol

left signal light

left frame slider n spool slider n left balancer slider..

bmw turns wasnt a problem for me at all..

its my miss-counting of gears tat made me went neutral... haahaa

i have no fear other than turn 3, coz thats where i always bua my toe sliders, n turn 5.. coz after a rainy morning, the muds came onto the apex..

u have to bang in later, or juz go over @ lower speed..

 

turn 6 is my fav coz its a moderate high speed bend, smooth n can stay there for 2-3 seconds b4 u come back up... haahaa... =)

Mine was registered June 2009 & is from Boon Siew. Think I'll call up & check with them regarding these 2 things.

As long as rider is OK, that matters most.... Bike can be repaired but not the human body....

i agree, it was my fav corner besides turn 1.... but after the nasty crash which i dont noe how i flipped and landed face on the ground... i had a little phobia

 

surprisngly, although visor was badly scratched and air vent broke off.... e helmet was perfectly fine!! hahaha...

my friend riding a cbr600 also recently crashed.. but @ turn 5..

 

his damages were costly...

i believe ard 2k+ .. as most items were alrdy cheap n bought off from ebay..

2ndhand rims, farrings abs plastic, meter, etc..

 

shld be either in feb ( during or after cny)... or/and march.. =)

Try MotoWorld.... I got mine from the Lavender branch.... Its from Komine.... Got it for $130.... With hard shoulder & elbow/forearm armour & foam back protector (replacable with hard one).... Its a good buy, given the price & the quality's pretty good.... But dont know whether still available coz was 2008/09 model.... Anyway the 2010 models should be in too....

There's a handful selling in the garage sales, go check it out! Prices are ok and some of them are rather new quite a range of sizes. Just bought 1 from a fellow sgbiker. Saved me over $200 from buying a brand new jacket!
