hi bros. m currently waiting to take my class 2 prac. wanna buy a class 2 bike to upgrade. i find cbr 1000rr 05 - 06 the outlook nicer then the newer ones. the pipe under seat looks swell. i would like to ask

- wats the maintenance like? engine oil, spark plug oil filter, air filter. hw abt the fuel injector? need cleaning? cos m using a carburetor bike so wanna know abt fuel injector servicing.

 

- u guys mention boon siew.. hmm so any wear and tear or any thing spoilt go to boon siew? is it better than normal bike repair shop?

 

- there is a guy selling his cbr 1000rr06 at $14k. mileage is ard 35k. is it worth? if only the cbr1000rr 06 has a first hand. m afraid to buy second hand in case theres prob with the bike and no warranty.

eo 4 btls ( u calculate the price) 5000km/3mths change, sparkplug * 4 ( depends normal or iridium) 10k-15k km change, oil filter ( normally in a eo package) 10k-15k change together with ur plugs, air filter ( change to aftermarket so u can keep washing/recharging)..

 

fuel injectors can change when clogged, so not a worry, there are products in the market which can unclog ur injectors also... 04-05 models have the coil problems.. but if ur coil is under 7yrs warranty from boon siew, den u can bring back boon siew to change. =)

 

dun got first hand for this model liaoz.. 06 is quite a good model actually.. =)

n 14k price is for stock or with wat accessories??

hahaha, but when problems kick up, dont forget that they r damn super costly compared to a 2A bike... and alot more modifications that u can do also..... so better have alot of cash on standby in case anything happens... yep!

Organizing a 1 day trip to Pagoh J32 route towards LABIS waterfall n scenery viewing on the 21st Feb. Traveling speed will be 120km/hr ~ 160km/hr at NSHW . Pls wear proper gears like Full-face , gloves boots n riding jacket.

 

 

 

Sun 21 Feb . Meeting time 10am at GP

 

Proceed to ayer hitam or pagoh for lunch , drinks n RnR before proceed to J32. Will be heading back to GP for quick tea break before heading back to SG . Estimate time around 5pm.

yes, they have the fuel light for reserve.. no to fuel gauge, can only gauge by the mileage u clocked...

 

08 has the petrol consumption shown also... while the older models dun have.
