Guys, went to amk workshop this morning, try to fix or modify both the missing air filter holder for my o4' blade, but mechanic has no idea and could not find the spare part, told by bike production to go to their shop to let them check as i bought this bike from them, ok off i go, reached there and eddie the mechanic open up the plastics and tilt up the fuel tank 90 degree, i curiously touch the tank with my bare hand, it was hot ! No less than 50'C i would say, being the location of the tank close to the hot engine especially if riding cought in the traffic, engine temperature can easily go up to 100'C.

Question is does this tank has another inner layer of metal that hold the fuel ?

The warm fuel will cause the comsumtion high at the same time it will evaporized if get warmer.

one explanation would be... where can the petrol evaporate to??

lol .. still inside the fuel tank.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_point

check the fuel flash point n auto ignition temp rate.. =)

n quoted from some help pages..

this guy posted..

"In this last case, the injectors are designed such that the gasoline is ejected towards the admission valve surface, which turns out to be really hot, and helping for the vaporization of fuel."

so i reckon tat below the fuel tank will get quite hot.. not only our engines..

all the engines.... lol

Biodiesel >130 °C (266 °F)

Suck it n ride!

Hi guys, i am actually looking to buy a RR5. when i tested the bike, i noticed that the rear foot brake doesnt seem to engage when i stepped on it, even at its maximium. the owner said this is normal at low speed and the brakes will actually engage when riding at higher speeds..

so i was wondering if this is normal. sorry for the noob question. appreciate the replies.

ehh.. for most of the cl2 bikes.. the rear brake no power..

if got power sure slip....

so.. u wan got power or not? lol

Craz_03 is right.... Rear brakes are practically useless in class 2 bikes.... In fact, I've stopped using my rear brake now.... And engaging the rear brake at high speed is asking for trouble - fishtail.... I experienced that before.... Trust me, your b*lls will not be in your throat but in your eye sockets.... LOL

Well, by law only clear & non-coloured.... But so far, tinted (smoked) ones seemed ok (as long as your headlights are visible from far).... Other than that red, green, blue etc arent allowed.

Is it a new exhaust? I have a hard time taking the DB Killer out when I just got my LV. Had to go to my mechanic to pull it out using heavy duty clamps and pliers... I had the surfaces grinded a little so the silencer can be removed and installed easily.

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?
