Care to share the -ve comments?

 

It's not 100% protection, I'd rather have it than not.

 

In other news, the 2010 CBR1000RR is coming in this week, HRC color costs $26.6k machine price.

 

Hmm machine prices include coe and stuff?

 

My friend who had the race shield was saying for the head lights, even if something hit it, the impact will still go to the headlight plastic.. no doubt the race sheld wun get torn but he feels that those headlight protecters do a better job..

 

For the fairring protection part , his -ve comments were they will peel off over time or something.. I didnt get to see the peeling off parts though.. does it happen to u?

At the pillion seat. When you remove your pillion seat, you can see a hook-like bracket.... That's for you to hook the helmet ring and after that just replace your seat.

I recently bought a CBR FireBlade 06 ... everytime a shift to 1st gear I hear a sound due to the gear shift... can u experienced riders discuss if this is normal or the bike needs some attention...

Is it a thud sound? This is normal. Shifting to 1st or 2nd from neutral will have a thud sound.

if u bought it 2nd hand most probably the helmet wire is gone.

u can buy at daiso $2 for 30cm or 90cm wire. just dat it doesnt have the black rubber thingy.

alternative is go sim lim tower buy those heatshrink wrap and cover it.

for ur friends.. either their paintwork not good enuff.. n was in the sun for long periods.. den the paintjob start peeling, raceshield adhesive start slipping... but most comments i heard was good..

 

headlight protectors are good for prevent damage to the headlight as they costs $$.. but the temptation for stolen headlight protectors will also rise.. ppl hand itchy juz pluck down n walk away.. lol

 

i low budget.. so no raceshield or headlight protectors... can only put cloth tape.. lol

get minimum K2 interact by metzeler or dragon supercorsa...

I have an original set of toolkit for the 2006 Blade. I think it cost over $300 for the set. If you want it, you can make an offer for it. It includes the helmet wire as well.

Actually I've been wondering, how come they don't do a modern bike movie with 1000cc bikes? I can't stand the sound of 2 strokes.

 

I love the sound in this movie, so amateur, but I had fun making it back in 2004.

FYI shujayath, you can hear the thud sound clearly when the bike engaged into 1st. Is that the same sound you're hearing?

previous on 2cts..till now still dare not go all out at bends...

the side walls don feel sticky n leaning needs a little more effort...

n its higher meaning must go lower to finish the side walls...haha

Hi guys, i am actually looking to buy a RR5. when i tested the bike, i noticed that the rear foot brake doesnt seem to engage when i stepped on it, even at its maximium. the owner said this is normal at low speed and the brakes will actually engage when riding at higher speeds..

 

so i was wondering if this is normal. sorry for the noob question. appreciate the replies.
