Is zero gravity corsa wind shield good on CBR1000? or just the normal zero gravity double bubble is good enough?

Its more of personal preference and of course whether you need the height of the Corsa series.... I was using the double bubble before switching to the Corsa one coz for my built, the Corsa gives me more wind blast protection than the double bubble....

I am using the Zero gravity Sports Touring (ST).

This model is a slighly older model but has a similar height as the Corsa.

Personally I feel it is better than the Double Bubble (DB) in both track and touring use.

I feel more confident when traveling at high speeds on both track & on NSH,

as it gives me lesser wind resistance and better comfort in riding, endurance & pleasure

and i dont need to bend my head down forward too much when doing hard or sudden accelerating..

And my pillion also highlighted that she experiences lesser wind resistance..

(its more than one different pillion that gave the same feedback too... hehe)

However, it is really based on your preferences and comfort.

Most important is to enjoy your ride!

Cheers bro!

It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that!"

I went to Equipment Extreme and the salesman there said that there isn't any no-cut frame slider for the CBR1000, mine is the 05 model, and also claimed tt his was longer than motivation's...

Any thoughts? Thanks :)

bro for the frame slider..u tend to use the slider to prevent from "stupid drop","jatuh bodoh" or for track use, more to engine bay protection.actually for track use is to use cut slider as it is direct to frame, however this slider cant do much if u slide on track, jus reduce the impact..as for no-cut there will be a bracket..so not strong..if u see from my pic below im using the no cut..i got it from motorworld..ard 80 bucks..u can try there..this slider hav help me safe my fairing twice from "jatuh bodoh"..never kena from track..so dont noe.. :-)

What i know there is a no-cut slider available for the 05 model.

A friend of mine was using it back then..

Mixed reviews about it though....

Anyway, still based on your preference..

Tts very impt coz its ur bike.

Anyway, u can read abt all the experiences here posted by our fellow riders.. abt equipment extreme sliders..

The good thing is that you can customize the length of your sliders..

Example if you had a slight fall and the sliders edges looks worn out and ugly or a little damaged..

You can trim them off... so they look good n new again...

But the bad is that, theses sliders...

most times he doesn't carry ready products available for our bikes.

And you have to wait..

Of coz if its too long, like some of the bros experience,

then its not fair...

Sliders are important.

If you do choose to go for EE customized sliders which are slightly longer...

it is okay if u dont go to track...

But if u do track, i dont think its a gd idea..

personally I am using sliders from EE,

and when i track esp at pg..

the sliders will affect you when you dive in most of the corners n bends there.

becos of the layout of the track.

Well, this can be a gd or bad thing though..

for starters or beginners.. this maybe can be good..

becos maybe u can judge your lining and depth of your corners when you dive..

so you will have some idea on how low u have dived when u see scratches on ur sliders

or if they r no scratches at all.., then u know u hav potential to go lower n deeper

but of coz ur tyre profile n rearsets also does plays a part in this too...

But the bad thing is tt the sliders will limit the depth of your corners

esp affecting ur lining... n cornering style..

bcos of how low u can dive thru each corners..

esp if u do extreme deep cornering..

u will experience that the sliders will affect ur cornerning n lining alot..

but if u dont track or dont do hard deep cornerning..

then u can forget abt what i say...

this is just my personal experience n 2cents....

maybe to others it might vary...

whatever the case, the sliders are impt..

so do a little more study into it

n u will know how long e sliders shld be...
