Hi all,

 

Just thought I'd share my experience earlier while I was at work. The guard contacted me to inform me that my bike had been knocked off the stand and was lying on the side. So I rushed down, picked it up off the ground and straightened it back into a motorcycle lot. Put in my key and tried cranking it to start but as suspected, the engine wouldn't turn. So bo pian, pushed it up from the basement carpark to park it in front of my office for later inspection.

 

Later, figuring it must be fuel could be excess fuel, I turn the throttle to the max and cranked the bike. Keep holding the throttle at the max position while cranking the pressing the starter button until you hear the engine turning and the bike coming to life. Rev the engine a little bit more, and monitor idling able to return to normal. Success! A towing fee of $40 and a trip to the repair shop saved!

If its carb bike,yes you need to hold the throttle and crank the bike after the bike fall on its side..FI bikes no problem..btw the method you use was long teached by riding instructors..but then most of us will forget coz not everyday you get the bike on its side..

Sape2 tau mane jual red shock springs for spec 1? Just the springs.

 

Springs alone susah nak cari must try scrap yard..or theres anothe possibility..ko pegi BIKELAB dekat tu bendemmer road..sane ada jual the uprated springs for showas..but colour black,just need respray to red..

nak tanye siket, vtec 2 saye nie makan minyak rabak sgt. nak kate tangan kanan berat, dah buat ujian tak bukak vtec utk satu tangki rata2 mcm 16km/L kalau mcm biase 14++/L. kadang kala nak begerak biler lampu hijau perah minyak mcm tersekat2. rase2 mcm carb kene servis. ade tak masalah lain yg menyebabkan peragai gini?

Aku sugguest ko jual tu 400 and beli 1000cc or 600cc..aku nya 1100cc pon makan 15km/l kalau riding pat singapore ..kau nya dah bukan makan tapi TELAN tahap gaban..

 

Ok serious note,ko pi recheck ko nya jettings..ada chan size dah not ori..for vtec model ar,semampu yang aku ingat mainjet size 102 outer and 105 inner..this is factory setting. Btw tak dinasihat kan suka suka bukak carb cuci sana sini..unless really really desprate baru bukak...

 

If carb not problem maybe engine compression too low but if ko nya bike start without any problems then there are many other things that can cause high fc..

 

Bring to a reputable workshop to check coz aku nya ilmu belom cukup sampai bole telek sakit moto orang dalam air..hehehe!!..

eh jangan lah cakap mcm gitu... nak tukar motor bajet siket, maklom lah ramai dah standby nak duit raye. haha. berlobang kocek aku.

tapi so far carb dah hantar servis carb semua stok settings...mechanik kate carb kotor berdaki so nak kene tgok dlm 2-3 minggu kalau maseh tak pulih.

Carb berdaki maknanya either ko jarang pakai moto or bad fuel quality..but since dah cuci ko juz monitor je the fuel consumption..btw since ko nya motor dah lama,pernah check tu fuel filter dalam tank tak?..thats also plays a part,if the filter dah pecah..kotor2 semua masok dalam carb dgn petrol..

 

Air khatirah and bubur takleh ditelek bro..nanti iman tak kuat takut masok dalam mulut plak ekekek!!!..

Salam semua. Bro trafalgar, how's ur fc so far? Aku pun encountering same problem. Bike vtec 1. Motor kekadang smooth kekadang lemau. Minyak makan rabak. Semua stock. Tk tau owner lama ade tukar jetting tk.

baru berape hari perhatikan motor. fc belom jelas lagi, baru isi tank, so kene tgok ade beza ke tak lepas isi 2-3 tank.

so far lepas servis biler bergerak dari lampu hijau sekat2 takde sgt cuma 1-2 kali ajer mcm rase tersekat siket.

bila tgh jln tuu taklah lemau, biler perah dier boleh lari. fc kau berape?

240km masuk reserve. Ape peh nasib. Motor lama vtec 2 aku 350km baru reserve.

kalau 240km baru masok reserve oklah. aku biler pegi KL meter dah terkebil2 baru 210++km.

Bole..just take note..petrol semua kena drain pastu no smoking ar..unless ko fireproof..
