For meter, only W400 with chasis number EJ400A-000031 to EJ400A-001203 (1,173units) affected.

 

There is another recall on defective engine o ring, EJ400A-001990 to EJ400A-002007 affected, mine is not affected :goodluck:

those royal enfields from india seem interesting eh, wonder what are the price range like? are they easy to maintain? considering of getting one too, though im not too convinced they work well as a daily transport bike.

 

anyone can comment on them RE?

heyaa all thanks for the info rgds my con rod . try checking out thru the net bt no avail . the hamilton bike shop aint much help tho coz me know the mechanic , hv check wth them bt no avail tho . neither does chia heng or kwon soon .

 

gosh any1 care to help me if not me gonna miss out the gathering wthout my bike. any info or tips rgds my con rod will be much appericiated to keep my bike alive again and join all of u at the gath.

According to Kawasaki, the ink that used to print the meter dials not completely dry when the meters were manufactured. The ink on the dial will evaporate eventually and react with the anti fog coating at the underside of the meter glasses and cause minute cracking on the meter glasses.
