No worries Phang. I've one at home too. I can join u for the "Hole in the pocket" Gang. :giddy: . Spares are relatively ok IMO for my Kwak GPz900r cos I thought it is going to cost a bomb. Basically, Kawasaki are built to be extreme but as some of u might know. :bouncefire: "Nothing is Perfect"

What about my recent possession-1975 CB200? Looks not very far from your condition but basically I think your Zephyr is suffering from some leaking issues, am I correct ?

Yes, this is the one. It leaks air and oil, air leaking from the cracked rubber carbs mounts. Oil leaking from the cam cover, head, sump and carb bowls. Also leaky fork seals and all the 3 brake calipers.

 

Items that are not leaking are fuel tank, oil cooler, rear shocks and tyres... haha

well, at least the engine is small and light. I am still looking for a way to transport the engine to my reading room once taken down from the frame. I was thinking to make an engine support from steel so that I can flip the engine to the sides or upside down to facilitate the cleaning and restoring.

My wife doesn’t know the existence of this zephyr yet. This is a secret project, besides solving the technical problems, parts, tools, and my lousy backyard skills, at the same tine I still need to make sure that the whole operation remain underground…very challenging

I saw your bike the other day and i was wondering "oh man what happened to your bike, why would anyone wanna abandon this beauty?!" Even though I don't really know the actual model but I know it was a old skool CB and old skool CB is the dopeshit haha. Now i know why it's in this state.

I have no idea but your RE looks very nice without the mirrors, I thought there are small bar end mirrors fixed on your handle bar.
