Can i join? not sure my 26 yr old bike is "vintage" enough...

And Is the meeting still on?

2strokia, r u riding a 2stroke bike ? All r welcome. I also own a 80s Bike which can consider classic. Anyway a 26yr old bike can consider vintage, just that bikes from the 80s do not have a old vintage feel. More towards the Retro feel.

So what r u riding ?

Hell Yeah!

Hi all, may I jus interupt and find out from u guys the following dumbo questions for CG125 (90's model);

1) Do you guys have any knowledge of a CG125 (the 90's model, not the recent new ones)?

2) Would it be costly (roughly how much it is gonna be) to restore a CG125 (a 1992 or 1993 model)?......PS: don't have to be as 'chio' as bro marco's bike of course....jus need some outlook and performance wise restoration will do.

3) Spare parts for this bike easy to get?

4) As I noe nothing abt vintage/classic bike (but would like to own one and start to do up one), any good advice tat all the experts out there to give abt getting a bike like CG125.....

Thanks in advance and apologize for the lengthy (perhaps vague) queries.....

CG125 price quite ok(500-800), part can find in any spare part shop!

Saw a few CG done up very nice, there is one mob up like a CB125! I think you can find those A plate CG and rebuild the engine as A plate look more vintage.hehe

After all, CG is a good start for those vintage lover! try out on this bike before go for something more vintage!

BTW your pic is a TW225?

Hi there, check out Page 16. I have post a picture of my old CG125 done up. I started with this bike 10 years ago. Like streetbiker say try to find a A plate or look for CG110 more older, early 70s model. My old CG125 plate is AW2500C.

:cheeky: I am taking my time and saving more $ first so will not send in so soon. Bro, don't stress yourself :giddy: to much with to many bike. Just ask yourself what you want. For me I want a small cc. CD125T for slow cruising and a big cc. CB550F for fast speeding. When you start to buy car, I tell you you have no time to ride your bike. :dozed:
