enquiry on entry level scrambler

ya, i did enjoy the ride very much together with ninjalite.

the sand part is tiring, but fun! slide the rear wheel everywhere!

 

i should get a scrambler earlier. speed riding is fun, but not as fun as dirt riding!

 

will go for trail again this coming sat with ninjalite and some other SR guys.

hello Sev, I'm looking for either a dr200 or xr200.

 

U have been thru the process so guess i can seek ur opinions.

I'm 1.65 tall, can i go for xr200 and still touch the floor? ( I dun wan to tiptoe too much... cos quite stressful for my toes.. since I'll be using it as transport + motorcross too!)

i'm 1.7m, xr2 is low enough for you.

don't worry about the tip toe, the bike is light, very easy to ride.

go ahead and get one.

i never ride DR200, so can't tell the different.

both are good and bullet proof engine.

 

today trail met with a guy call Bon, he do 180 degree turn by popping up his DR2 and twist it.

it doesn't matter what bike you ride, is what you can make out of it.

 

only visible different is DR2 has lower seat height.

the best way 2 get the proper info is 2 visit the respective importers and get the info from them. dat way,u will have a clearer understanding of the machine dat u r getting! fc n top end speed varies from bike to bike,riding style,riders weight etc.

 

honda- boon siew honda, bukit timah rd.

suzuki- guan hoe,rangoon rd.

argh.. the one at dirt wheel FR plate.. COE ending alr.. machine 1.8k.. if + COE i think about 3k+++++++ liao.. bo hua.. and a shop behind more siao.. i think FQ plate.. the guy quoted 4.8k OTR..

 

btw, since XR200 consider very old bike alr.. when getting it 2nd hand, will kena lots of prob??
