Hi people,

as above please.

Does red light camers focus on 1 point/1 side of the road only?

Meaning it only take pictures of offending vehicles which past by the road on which the camera is placed?

Suppose a camera is at 1 vertical end of the road, will it take picture of offending vehicles coming from the horixontal side?

Sorry, cos it is rather hard to put it into the 'correct' terms.

You guys who been to Ah Boy via CTE Balestier road exit, knows that at the 2nd junction where the Eminent Plaza is? There are 2 camers there.

If we wanna go to Ah Boy, we turn right from Lavender Street to Jalan Besar, correct? The one with the red/amber/green arrows?

There are 2 cams, one focused Bendemeer Road, the other focused on Lavender strret going towards Balestier Road.

I was wondering does the 2 cams actually focus on the right turn junction also?

off topic.. what if i am riding a bicycle and i cross those sensors? anyway, think it focuses on potential accident hazard junctions.. Like one side have those grey cameras but one side dont have.

I rather not take my chance on this. It's $130 with 4 points for speeds >= 20km/h of the limit.

yea i've too have wondered about those cams but whatever it is, whenever i see any camera at a junction, just don't test the system. don't want to try my luck.

bicycle will not trigger the sensors,

1) they're not fast enough to trigger speed cam

2) they don't hv enough metal n weight to trigger the sensor b4 the junction to activate red-light cam.

even if somehow kenna captured, also cannot summon u, cos they only got ur face, how they find u, take to CID for face recognication system?

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?
