Oh it was you !? wow, what are the odds :) Ok so now you know me, no more excuses to not come to the BTWO then ! And bring your friend, we need more girls :)

You're sweet but no my panniers do not make my bike look sleek, that much I know hahaha..

Remember the other Pulsarian you saw what bike color it was? Helmet style? I think most of us here gear up, we talk about it so much...:cheeky:

When on the highway jams, staying in the lanes tends to cause frustration with the drivers who just want to take your space. SG drivers usually leave enough space for you to lane split, but as a new rider, I suggest you always split behind another bike, BUT leave at least a full car's length between you two. More if you can. The bike in front will act as a prevention measure, warning the drivers that bikes are coming.

Actually lane splitting in massive jams is safer, all the cars are almost at sop, justremember, if the cars start moving off fast again, go back in the lane, when it slows down again, go out again. Until you really get the hang of it.

The number one danger is vehicles suddenly switching lanes. So look far and at the same time be aware of any vehicle turning its wheels or inching out. Ride with both feet on top of their levers to brake and drop gears quickly if needed, and try to cover your front brake as well. Lane splitting for me is the time where I'm the most in Spiderman mode, all senses tinggling and ready to react! I cover my horn with the left thumb too when I lane split, it helps keep the lane hoppers at bay :)

The second danger when lane splitting (in general but more so on the highway), is other bikes cutting in frm the inside of the lane. A lot of them do not check..

Also, during the day, always leave your high beams ON. You flashed them for me yesterday to let me know I could get into the lane split in front of you, so not sure if you had them on and just flashed them or you were on your normal head light.

For me, when lane splitting fast, do focus & look 3-4 cars ahead. Look out for cars keeping close to the white lines as the might serve in suddenly. You must always be ready on the brakes & SWITCH ON THE HIGH BEAM. IT HELPS>>>>>>!!!

Again, i was honked for following the speed limit on the left most lane. Some cars do really have powerful horn & batteries but low on patience. it seems....Warkahakahakahakah.

Ride slow slow. Getting old already..................

@mjbs64, I'm actually not using mine anymore, thinking of selling USD200 as it's been sitting in the storage closet ever since I moved, I have a tap here and I just hook up a hose to it so no need for mobile washer.

Going through all my bike crap that I want to sell and taking photos, I will post some for you guys here first to see if you are interested.

I tried lol.. but she prefers a new bike. Now talking about 200NS.. Shadow is too high for her, tip toeing only. I think the NS is a bit shorter..

Plus, her I would only sell symbolic value so can't do that as I need the money to get a new one :faint:

Guys i just got myself a new cleaning agent called FW1 (fast wax) it doesn't requires water just spray and wipe off and it last about 3-4 weeks per "wash" session, will update you guys on the results haha!

Is your bike P180 UG 2, 3 with 4 holes in rear sprocket ? If yes go to Ah Boy and ask for 38 teeth rear sprocket for Bajaj Pulsar 180, or 16/17 teeth front sprocket. Remember I mention "or".

You can change either front or back.

If your bike is P180 UG 1 or 2 with 6 holes then rear sprocket no choice he has only 43 teeth, but you can change the front sprocket 16/17 teeth.

If your's is P200 or P180 UG4, then go for Sinnob.

OKay noted!! Thanks for the information will go check it out soon! My is P180 UG3
