Well, on slope my speed drop terribly, assuming I'm at 5th gear, that I had to keep left all the time (sometime even the vehicle on the left most lane had to overtake me), RPM drop at the same time too. So sometime I down gear to 4th, full throttle, RPM is about 7k RPM but still no power.

 

I remember they changed the clutch plate just a week after I bought the bike since I'm having problem getting "Neutral". All this while I thought that a top speed of 90km/h is normal for a Pulsar (since it's fuel saving) until I told my friend about it.

 

Oh yeah, when I have pillion, it gets even heavier to go 90km/h. It's like, the engine revving very hard (full throttle) but still no power. Quite sad.

 

Anyway, thanks for the reply guys. Now I know it's not normal. I'll go to my mechanic next time I'm free. Maybe I can see you guys in one of the outing in the future. Ahaha.

HID PROGESS UPDATE

 

The HID hve been installed, afew thing complicated but still works.

 

1) Normal yellow light = must on HIGH BEAM.

 

2) to activate HID = must on extra switch.

 

3) Eating the voltage of the bike.

 

4) DO NOT KNOW IF THE reflector will melt or not. cause the HID can be very hot.

 

Will keep you update after i return from MUAR tonite.

3. Sure eat la..... the voltage needed to feed the ballast is alot. last time got 1 pulsar rider UG2 install oso... call me i can tell u how to prevent the HID draining ur batt.

4. HID is not HOT.

 

Gd luck if u get stuck at muar bike cannot start due to HID suxing all the power pls be prepared to tow bike.

mechs will drain a bit of petrol from older bikes to get rid of the water/rust/impurities stored inside. and dun waste the drained out petrol ma cos its can help to clean the greasey bike pretty well.

rmb I told u b4 that time I ran out of petrol and i switch to reserve but still no petrol n u told me the bottom all SHIET dats why... HAHA! hope dat helps...

 

yup, den he open the place whr the front sproc is, some EO went to my stands and he used my petrol to clean them...

he want backpack mah.... string bag are uncomfortable but can just get those OGK or Arai/Shoei sling bag from LAB? it's cheap and serve it purpose as well.

 

i got mine free when i buy my helmet.

 

i got my Rjays backpack from Regina. can fit my full face in. but the front compartment cannot squeeze in any more bulky stuffs if got full face inside the main compartment. the best thing i like about this backpack is that i can adjust to make the main compartment bigger(to put the full face snugly in) or smaller(to make it look like a normal backpack). the cost is $60 or $80. forget the price already.

DIY EO CHANGING .... i dun think got discount for EO....

 

Oic. Thanks for the info. You change at your hse carpark? I am quite interested to try other brand as the Mobil EO seems like not able to last too long. After 600km, need to kick harder to avoid the gear from going into neutral gear when changing from gear1 to 2.

haha... yes you are on the right track but along BKE and exit Bt Panjang (this route is the easiest).

 

 

Happens if you accidentally turn right on the 2nd junction, no worries though.. keep travelling straight down the road you will see the block on the right side after you pass the archery range.

 

 

Happens if you missed the 3rd junction...

1st option make illegal U turn ,

 

2nd option

turn right to Wlands Road and keep right. Turn right at the next junction to Senja Way , turn right again and the block is around the corner on the left.

Just came back home from MUAR. everything good except I kenna the storm when i leave MUAR.... KNS, the heavy downpour last all the way till singapore.... imagine... gusty wind... heavy rain... phew...

Guys, any recommendation for open face helmet? Right now in the middle of saving up for a FF, but my OF helmet cushion got a cut and the rings was rusty, so was looking for a OF helmet for the time being
