ok..thats y when at trafic light i heard my engine rev up very high then i adjust the idling to lower...then i parked my bike..the next day i start my bike the rpm is very low..i have to idle higher...haizz..very sian..

hey thanks bro...i can sleep well now..lol btw izit normal for the lite beams to have screws on them?and when im riding i saw my lites went to high beam.was there something with the lites?or do i need to fix it?

My friend running in (New pulsar) also encounter this issue. During idling, engine die off. This issue always tio when under the hot sun a couple of hours when bike is hot like a roast chicken. His O-ring also leaking, lucky under warranty if not need to pay. UM power! :angel:

yeah...when i buy the bike about few months ar after running in..i tried speed to test how fast the top speed was...not so fast ley..only can go 120km/h..sian...then after running in i tend to ride fast..then all the while for months ar i realised the O-ring leaked n the exhaust pipe sounded like the pipe like want to loose..when i stopped n checked ar the sound came out from the pipe...the mechanic said inside the pipe broke n need to welding back...but i havent weld it back..no money liao..hehe..wan to weld the mech said $15...change O-ring include take out the tank n the block cost $45...

u no need to fix it..it is originally like that...don worries...for ur info due to my experience dont change the main lite bulb to high power bulb coz it will bcome more brighter n it will suck all ur battery..so play safe use original pulsar lite bulb..ur battery will last longer..unless u want to change ur rectifier n coil to hihger voltage u can change the lite to very white colour bulb like the sporty car using..i think u know wat i mean...

Could be ur Diaphram harden up. Go check.

OUr bike speedo are 1-3Kph different from GPS Speed and consider accurate.

120kph is more than enough for singapore road. unless you do no treasure ur license. Do not compare Pulsar speedo with those analog speedo

Pulsar are meant for slow speed, unlike other bike. To optimatize ur bike for constant 90-100kph, Please change ur rear sprocket size to 38.

 

The O-ring u mention is actually Cam Cover.

You r rite. DO not change ur bulb to H4 high voltage bulb (50/55w) This will not onli harm ur magnetic coil but also ur rectifier. Alway stick to Orginal Bajaj bulb. For those P180, you can use P200 bulb for brighter and white feeling.

 

FOR HID

 

It is not recommended. Unless you know how to tap the wiring and solve the wiring issue and more. I can confirm with you that not much Mechs can install HID due to Pulsar complex wiring system and complicate voltage distrbution.

Your bike's problems started from here ...

 

Running in during initial stage MUST keep speed to not more than 70km untill 5000.

 

Every bikes have been tested and recommended by it's manufacturer ..

for our bikes running in is

 

Initial Stage

750 1st servicing

2500 2nd servicing

5000 3rd servicing

 

Subsequent

Every 2500 change oil

Every 5000 servicing

The screw is for to keep locked the lights ON during day time riding to prevent from getting a ticket.

 

Stop behind a car 1 car distance and check the beam low beam light, it should pointed below the car's rear mirror. If it's pointed direct or above the rear mirror of the front car then go UM and tell them.

 

This little problem happened with our bikes occasionally and you want to know why ...
